One piece that stood out to me in the scattered story of Praedyth's fireteam is actually found in Last Wish, dating back to the Great Hunt. (thematically Bungie's writers definitely made use of the Great Hunt and the Ahamkara wishes of guardians like Praedyth as one of their deus ex machina explanations for why so many legendary powerful NPC Guardians met tragic ends). Check this out: "Praedyth wished hard. Wished it would never end. Alongside him, Kabr was a towering giant. An Awoken-made weapon roared in his hands and in his head. Pahanin was a force, a living embodiment of the Void. Where he pointed, Ahamkhara died. In the middle, between them, Praedyth smiled. A winged and scaled lion with a boar's tusks leapt at him, and he could swear he saw the thing wink at him as he tore it apart. *Beneath the song, Praedyth heard static, like a comm signal. Best not to think about it.* Praedyth wished again, and the hunt went on."

In the lore no time to explains seems to be an anchor point of sorts. The gun is in itself a temporal anomaly due to how Clovis implemented vex tech in its design. When Elizabeth gave us the rifle in d1 she was essentially marking our timelines as one of interest and potential that she could reference should she go through the loop again. In d1 and beyond light Elizabeth seems to be communicating with a third party via a comma device in her head. My theory is that she and pray death are working together. This is hinted by the fact that in the aspect lorebook praydeth notices Elsie throughout different timelines as a constant figure moving through time and timelines. They also are both the only people with knowledge of this future and how the darkness is involved in it. At some point after the aspect lorebook Elsie must have met praydeth or praydeth contacts Elsie and they team up. Since praydeth was lost to time and the Ishtar researchers are simply digital copies. They are likely unable to enter any space inside time hence praydeth seeing the black garden as the only way out of his cell. Praydeth and the researchers are the inside team and Elsie is the outside field agent using the information from praydeth to manipulate the timeline again and again through several loops in order to find a timeline where the darkness doesn’t destroy everything. They are trying to prevent destiny.

To expand more on your mention of the Ishtar researchers, I think there's a lot to unravel with Maya Sundaresh specifically. Her name has popped up way more than the others on that team, and its making me think either there's more than just her "simulation" in there or one (or more) of her simulations might actually have some kind of power/control in the vex networks. (See Insight Terminus's "MSund-12", old D1 grimoire cards on the Vex, and even Clovis Bray's Logbook) Either way, love your idea that Elsie might have been talking with Praedyth (or the Ishtar team) in our meeting with her at the Ishtar Archives in D1. Here's to hoping we get some answers with Vault of Glass coming back next season.

Don't forget that the new flavor text for No Time To Explain says that "Now" is etched on the rifle as opposed to "Soon". I feel that this implies that the event he saw was not just the arrival of the Darkness, but the advent of Stasis/Darkness influence.

I don't know if you took this into consideration, but the engraving on No Time to Explain in _Destiny 2_ says "Now." Given the timing, this could imply that Praedyth has been trying to warn us about the return of the Darkness or something related to Stasis.

In a twab bungie said we will return to the depths of Venus, so it confirms we will go there but it is still unclear wether we will get the full destination, a portion of it like the original new light quest, or we will enter inside from a portal on Nessus, Europa or some other destination.

It will be probably because they've described actual differences. Those two strikes were brought back as a sort of best of type thing where they want to have some things from destiny 1 to make it a sort of best of destiny.

The timeline where the city is destroyed could be a link to Elsie’s dark timelines. Maybe praedyth has been seeing all the paths that she has created when she resets after ana betrays everyone, which would make sense due to the connection with the stranger’s rifle.

Well in season of dawn, the second season after shadowkeep revolving around some tech achieved by vex tech, and in that season we saved a man we saw clearly dead and lightless, so, that’s a lot of parallels with what could happen in next season. Personally I think we could save praedtyh through a big quest and that’s the point of the season of us returning to the vault. That’d be pretty neat I think

I'm thinking the new portal into the Vault of Glass is on Europa, and might be the one at the end of the strike, where Banshee and Elsie fought off the initial Vex invasion of Europa. I also think Elsie has not been hopping around timelines, but has instead been caught up in her own 'vex simulations' allowing her to see possible outcomes, and even interact with Praedyth. Once she realizes this truth, and how she got out, she will help us do the same for Praedyth, and he will be rescued, and have heated debates with Osiris about the Vex. And we'll learn more about the Infinite forest, and it's significance to the Vex.

This and the Ishtar collective are two of my favourite lore pieces in D1. I remember listening to a deep dive on them from the Ghost Stories podcast - I loved that show and it’s a shame they stopped playing with D2Y1. Great video myelin - keep up the good work!

I remember doing the quest of NTTE pulse rifle, I really enjoyed that one, my favorite, the lore, the story about Kabr and Pahanin, I fell in love with that story, hope we see an excellent story of Praydeth in the few months :) Ps. If u go to the destinations screen, Click on the deluxe edition upgrade below Europa (if u didn't get the deluxe edition obviously), u can see an exotic light machine gun that looks like super good advice 😜

What about the one Cayde 6 used if we still have it? The other thing is how is exo stranger hopping timelines, also I think she's been talking to him since D1 about staying hidden make sure they don't find you etc. Something isn't adding up with the story and that one guardian who refused to get up when no one else could reject being awakened by a ghost. How did he do that and keep memories to say no, how does he factor in or is he the reason behind the failed timelines by not helping out.
