It says "New player" not gamer, and this is my first time playing Path of Exile. So yes, I am a new player, and this was the first time I saw flicker strike.

Downloaded this program but was immediately overwhelmed thinking I had to manually type in the stats for all my items so gave up.. thank god my fave D2 (destiny lol) content creator has come to the rescue!

Gemcutter's prisms. You can likely buy pretty cheap from alva (i haven't checked the price though). Also, hold alt to see what happens when you improve quality.

Hey Myelin, if you really wanna continue making PoE2 content, you should definitely reach out to the OG PoE streamers. Most of the community respects and follows them, and an endorsement from them will go a LONG way. A few notable ones: Mathilification, dslily, dreamcore, DarthMicrotransactions, GhazzyTV, BalorMage, SpicySushi, Crouching_Tuna, Lolcohol, aero, Talkative Tri, SnooBae, Empyrian, and ofc the biggies such as Zizaran, Steelmage, Quinn, Raxx For lore: KittenCatNoodles used to be the main lore creator for PoE1, and Talkative Tri is a huge Lore nerd as well The community is SUPER inclusive, and will definitely help you out in terms of both content and the game (because there's so much from PoE1 that people have already mastered) - they try to shut out low-effort content factories, but for people like you putting in SO MUCH effort, you're bound to gain respect quite quickly. Love ya, I'll continue watching and hope you thrive even after Destiny 2!

I don't know how I feel about this kind of approach for casual players. I've been playing PoE, and now I play PoE2-never used build guides. It feels more like a math class than an actual game to enjoy. At a certain point in the endgame, you will hit a wall, but at least it's your wall :D and you can try to push it further with your next adventure.

Yeah, I hear ya. At first I was the same, but also I have actually enjoyed it, and feel like I understand the game better in general, so that also makes it more enjoyable. From what I understand at least path of building doesn't feel necessary like PoE 1.

Just for future reference, Myelin: please do not use the word "money" when describing the worth of items in this game. I think it'll make new players think that they have to buy them with actual money instead of the currency that is in-game.

one suggestion for importing from the trade site while the feature isnt updated yet... you can copy the description of the item and paste it into POB as a custom item. it will give you a text box popup. sometimes it pastes a little wonky so you will need to edit it to show each affix on a new line.
