Destiny Lore - What happened to the Vault of Glass first fireteam? (Explained by Praedyth)
The first raid on the Vault of Glass consisted of Kabr (Titan), Pahanin (Hunter), and Praedyth (Warlock). Kabr would drink liquid from the oracles and would turn into a vex (as shown in the raid armor for Titan's, which showcases what he turns into). Pahanin would escape and would eventually be killed by Dredgen Yor, with his weapon of sorrow, Thorn. Meanwhile, Praedyth would die by getting lost in the Vault of Glass and scattered to the dark corners of time, which was likely a fate shared by Kabr after he was converted into a vex.

It's interesting how out of the 3 fire team members, the Vex did not kill any of them. They took Praedyth prisoner and then erased all knowledge of him so no one would come looking for him. Kabr drank the Vex Fluid cool-aid and turned into a Vex after he sacrificed his light to make Aegis. (All knowledge of him was erased too, although there is lore on a ship in D2 that suggests Kabr is still out there). And Pahanin escaped, scarred for life.

Kabr drank a liquid in the orcales and became a vex. Praedyth got lost in the Vault and was presumably killed by vex. Pahanin escaped, but was later murdered by Dredgen Yor.

@@ThePhoenix329 Wasn’t praedyth literally removed from all of existence by the vex basically panicking. They didn’t exactly know what to do or how to deal with a guardian so they removed his entire existence from time itself thus causing a paradox and cracking the vault open for us to exploit. Which is why vex don’t do it again and how he was able to talk to to us in present time whilst being dead.
