Destiny 2 OOB: Defiant Battleground: Orbital Prison (The Farm)

Thanks to Battlegrounds, we can finally get out of the Farm
Gerbsnail did this a while back here: • Box Breaking the Farm but I figure I should give it a go while we still have the quick launch node... I suspect it'll be playlist only come next season, at least until Bungie decides to give battlegrounds a permanent launch node.
You'll need navigator for this, and either a full fireteam, low light, or something else to prevent interrupting people trying to just do the Battleground normally. Be sure to bring ammo, 'cause you always respawn back in map in the first zone after taking the portal.

You can use the ghost pullout trick in social spaces like the start of the video to put a grapple point in the space. It’s a bit finnikey but you can

TIP: If you are on playstation, and want to solo queue activities for things like this, going into settings and changing the year on your system will allow you to solo queue most pve matchmaking activities.

BTW what is your opinion on new skimmer in the OOB exploring? I know they say you can't fly upwards that much you can using sparrow, but it also can cover large distances horizontally with little efforts.

In areas where sparrows are permissible, skimmers can substitute for horizontal sword movement and horizontal sparrow flying.

It won't replace sparrows, but it makes some stuff waaaay easier. Like the below map Maevic to Hangman's Pass route, and Insight Terminus

How exactly is Navigator swap working, if I swap the weapon, the cooldown still remains?

You must swap while in the air/while you don't have the timer active. Once the timer starts you have to either die or wait for it.

Didn't they at one point fix navigator flying? I could have swear in a patch at some point they said they fixed it where the cooldown doesn't reset when swapping weapons.

my understanding is it now only works if you swap before hitting the ground, as the cool down doesn't begin until you're on the ground.

Just checked Moon playlist to ensure, you haven't got underneath Scarlet Keep? There are huge solid grounds over here, just need to bypass the death barrier, I've vid for this, not sure if should post links in comments though. They also seem to remove space station which was there back in a day. Edit: found old screenshots from Apr 8, 2020

Do you know how to get into Kings Watch I can't even get close enough to stand outside there are so many invisible walls and pushback barriers near the Rocketyard

Pretty sure Kings watch was removed in D2. The load exists but the map does not, giving you an error code. The only problem is you can’t reach that load without hacking since it’s in a pushback
