Destiny 2 OOB: Shattered Throne Box Break

Thanks to the Confluence load, we can break out of the box in Shattered Throne via IRB :D
Thanks to Nahsense, TheCube17, and Elite Eater of Crayons for help with this route. We managed to get out of Descent first, but Erebus looks much neater. Luckily it's easy to turn one into the other.

Glad you fell all the way at the end there because I've always been curious if there was anything more to the Westworld esc pattern that makes up the base of shattered throne as well as the prophecy flawless emblem.

Obviously a huge leap in assumptions, but the only reason why I can think it looks this way is because one day the traveler lands in her throne world (in witch queen) and the symbol is a representation of that landing as seen on IO.

You're probably thinking of Savathun's Throne World because the Traveler has never visited Mara's Throne World.

@@samspin429 my point is that it wasnt exactly literal because while it is maras throne world, savathun controls it. If that's not the case and the traveler somehow visited maras throne world in the past that's even more fascinating

Curse or no curse, I just love all things Awoken. There's nothing else that comes even close to being so beautiful (the Dreaming City) and scary/mysterious (Ascendant plane) in D2. Thanks for the video Froggy!

Hey froggy, I happened to of found a chest underneath of The Sludge on the EDZ. I haven't been able to get to it, but you can spot it with a sniper. I figured I'd post here and tell you, since you might have more knowledge on it. Thanks for reading

Not entirely sure what you mean. I know there are a few paths to lost sectors that can go a bit low. I assume this is like one of the randomly spawning chests? We've had areas where destination currency things spawn out of map, particularly when they redid the Endless Gate back when Io was a thing. I don't think I've ever seen a chest out of map, other than collecting them through thin walls or floors. Do you have any more details about it, or if it is a persistent thing?

@Froggy618157725 so I used the glitch to get out of the map by the one lost sector everyone uses to get to the pools, instead of persisting to the pools, make a 180 and go back towards the sludge. You can see it standing on a rock and crouching with a sniper or anything to give you a range boost. I can't rightly give more details on it besides what I have, I do apologize, and yes I've had it spawn multiple times in the same place.

I'm generally not looking at objective progress at all. For glitching, sparrow breach after teleport and syncboxing near hexahedron is nicer than doing it direct from drifter. I think you can enter first and last room of Hexahedron, but no clue what it does while active. You can hit the teleport to rainbow road out of map when it's present, but idk if it helps for speedrunning at all.

It’s wild to me that Nahsense doesn’t do Sherpas anymore. Mind asking him why/how he switched from that to doing OOB’s? I’d love to play with him -KlipzZ_TACO

I stopped mainly because I got burnt out/bored with doing them. I farmed way too many of those things. I had a great time while doing them but eventually I just got tired of doing them. As for oobs Ive been doing oobs for years. I didn’t really have friends that was interested in oobs. So I just solo oob here and there and didn’t put a lot effort into learning any of the more advanced oob tech. Well I did learn how to drop box and once that got patched, I didn’t oob as much as I did before. Then after a good while I came back to it and wanted to get to galaxy pools so I found a friend and made a lot of attempts and eventually made it there. Along the way I made more friends that were interested in oobs. Eventually met froggy and others that made a lot of the guides we use today to oob. I have learned a lot from froggy and everyone I’ve met and it’s been such a joy helping with the vids, discovering things, being a part of the oob community.
