For newer or returning players, just get the adepts just for collection lol (wicked sister is arguably better IF you reset Zavala 4 times and now can burn through Vanguard tokens). Then you can spend the remaining 2 or 3 on whatever you like. You need 5 for chatter white anyway. Artifice armor is a doodoo though due to armor rework.

1:45 my friend and I did this quest at the same time, they had malfeasance and I had witherhord, I got mine done 3x faster than they did.

I did Grasp of Avarice for the dungeon/raid box. I hadn't done anything else for that bento box. It gave me the end of the quest for that box.

I dont know if it has been patched or not, but the 'Enhancement' socket has been accidentally enabled for all Cataphracts, Igneous Hammer, Riptide, and Horror's Least weapons accross the board. I went into my vault and enhanced all of those weapons i have in my vault and oh my gosh, I swear my Horror's least yells out "Multi-Kill kill kill" every time I fire.😆

Used 3 bentos on Solstice mementos without even thinking about it. They are the best 'Rare Curio' shader of the bunch and I've wanted more of them since the summer event. Used the other Bentos on Adept Cataphract and Adept Igneous Hammer.

Do Pit of Heresy. Each encounter is worth 20, so you complete the whole quest just for doing it, and you knock out a final dungeon encounter. If you really want to be efficient, save boss cp and do the boss twice and then that’s two quests and three bento boxes from 1.3 dungeon runs

Sounds like the grenade launcher is the only must buy (class item for new lights). The other weapons are optional, but I hear the exotic sniper is now really rng heavy to get. A lot of PVP heavy people aren't so excited about Igneous. Kind of an underwhelming "ending event" unlike Riven's wishes. Riven gave something for everyone, this is kind of a sad version of that for new lights and currencies/momentos if you're not full for old players.

Next week is the final days before Season of Heresy on 4th Feb, so either we're going to have another lore segment (at the very least, the sixth Minor Fieldwork will unlock), or it's just remaining time for players to finish things. I suspect the Chatterwhite from Xur will be the Tier 17 reward. Igneous Hammer's fixed stats are not the god roll for PvP, but I've heard it is still reasonably good for it. As for Riptide, players shouldn't waste tokens on it at all; especially if they have crucible engrams to focus the weapon with Shaxx. If you don't do Trials and have tokens left from a couple of Igenous Hammer, I would suggest at least one Cataphract, and spoils.

I tried to do Martial Mementos with the Whisper of the Worm spent an hour emptying the 20-something max ammo compasity 5 times on kills and the quest was still at 0% so it's obliviously broken or requires millions of kills

I was having a hard time with spending these. Totally forgot artifice class item gives 3 extra points. Thanks for reminding before I spent points. Next is heavy nade launcher. I dont need it as I have edge transit with same role and bitter/sweet with similar but I dont have a strand version so I guess? Lol

I grabbed the Igneous Hammer and a FotL memento as I think it offers the best shadder of the ones offered. I dont really need another GL but I dont have a Strand one so thats a maybe. I will be picking up the Chatterwhite next week.

Cataphract is probably one of the worst choices given that we just got a new Strand GL this season with NEW perks like Envious Arsenal. Not only that but you can get multiple perks on it and for only one engram this season. It's a pretty decent roll, but I think there's better options.

Tough to know. Weirdly my hope is they aren’t worth it because new armor is actually worth getting. My worry on weapons is the higher tiers let you make perks enhanced in ALL columns but nothing else. I just don’t know with the system they have how big of a change to gear they can make. They need a big change just don’t know if have it in Destiny 2 to allow it.

I'm just doing these quests for the shader, I've wanted an all-white shader for the longest time. I have better versions of all the weapons available, and the rolls on the artifice armour are terrible and not worth spending on. Besides, from what Bungie has said in the past about the rework to armour, I don't think collecting armour right now is worth it unless you are a new player.

I picked up Igneous, enhanced it and have Adept Stability equipped. Maybe you have to enhance first?

You need to own the adept mods, they don't give you the mods as well. You used to get them by completing GM's, I don't know if that's still the case.

You might need to level up the weapon to be able to use those mods. Kinda the way we have to level up to use some of the newer mods on certain weapons.

@@Ebontis The only way to avoid that is give out bonus tokens. Which for this kind of underwhelming thing wouldn't be bad for everyone and being able to get a full set of armor would be nice.

The hammer sucks in pvp. I do a lot better with other hand cannons. The pulse rifle is definetly good in pvp. I tried the hammer in pve and it felt a lot better. Not saying it's great but does it's job.

I got three grinding today in talking with Eris & the drifter and I haven’t completed the raid one yet (which awards two) so I don’t think that’s accurate. Maybe Eris gives you one too? IDK, either way I have my cloudstrike and didn’t have to complete a raid or dungeon

Another crap "Event". Bungie could have atleast made the offerings alot better. And the "White" shader isnt even all White. Theres hints of Blue and some other shades. Theres 3 White shaders already available that are more White than this one.
