Sagira dying didn't get a cutscene but Drifter and Eris fighting random taken who weren't even important to beyond light did. 😔

It's all about who's voice actor/actress was available. Sagira's couldn't return, so they cut her out. Drifter's couldn't in the Stealing Stasis mission, which lead to it's hilarious creation. The Stranger's couldn't, so they used the same actress as the Emissary of Nine which was a wise move, because she's had some of the best delivered lines in the game. Especially in the Born in Darkness missions with Ana (who got also got a voice actress change in Season of Worthy for the same reason). It's all about who had a recording studio in their closet and if there they had an open schedule. Voice actors have to balance a lot of different roles and contracts to earn enough to make a living. Can't always come back if they only get a handful of lines.

There could be a big speech in the tower about forgiving and starting fresh or whatever from Zavala, most people understand that he’s a blank slate, not Uldren anymore. It would make the game feel less empty

As far as lore goes, by killing cayde even though he wasn't a guardian at the time he does legally have right to the hunter vanguard, now that he is a guardian the position can only fall to him or if he refuses, it goes first to Marcus ren....

We haven’t gotten a solid answer but going off his dialogue during the first mission compared to the cutscene of crow saving him, it was somewhere there. I can’t picture Savathun asking us to deliver saint a last message

oh my gosh, thankyou I need this so muc. I don't feel like playing boring wraathborn hunts all day and the loot is not worth it so I am not doing them this season, but I wanted to learn so much more abour crow after the hawkmoon quest. THANKYOU! I went into season thinking I would hate him but now I really feel bad for him and think he needs us as a friend. I do think that they should have made his story a little more mainstream though, included Mara (who does not trust the light to depend on), included many venders trying to kill him and many arguments going on, and a final decision at the end of decision, just like we got at the end of forsaken, possibly cayde brought back as an exo, but evil, or uldren, ace in our hands, choosing who to kill. idk, just my fantasy, him learning what it truly is to be a guradian and stepping up to his big shoes to fill of hunter vanguard. Even though, learning to be a truee guardian is just learning to bounty farm and complain about bungie lol.

In the lore, it does say that a lot of Cabal were corrupted. But since we didn't see them in the hunts, I believe that Xivu Arath has plans for them.

He was supposed to have one last conversation saying that the Spider got a mechanic to remove the bomb and that he has decided to stay at the Tangled Shore to deal with the remaining Wrathborn until the Crytoliths finally wither. I'm not sure why that didn't pop up. Probably a bug.

Doubt we’ll see D3, it lost its way with the whole bungie/activision issue years ago, loot has turned all but boring with a few exotic quests here and there and now that grinding is pointless with sunsetting and pay to win credit card upgrades it’s just not fun anymore, the fun of it was the chase for armour and guns and story line, now the loot sucks and story line has branched off in a dozen ways with no conclusion
