Destiny 1 itself didnt focuse on anything. The Grimnoire Cards focused on the Darkness. And even then they where mostly Worldbuilding, The Devs even said they regard the entirety of Destiny 1 as a beta like thing. I expect a Shitload of retconning on Destiny 2. Wich is sad because i spend a lot of time Learning all about the story. of couse i might be wrong, and i hope i am.

So when I was listening to this, I couldn't but help notice the part that sounded way too similar to the first song (not just in terms of music), so I decided to put the lyrics of the first's chorus next to this verse, and my god I love Gav for doing this. The first song: Children of the cataclysm Awoken in a silent prison Out into the great collapse we ride Shadows of a ravaged paradise Sanctuary born of sacrifice Supernova dying starts collide The second song: Fly another path of sacrifice Face another falling paradise We were never gone just down and out Just another silent prison Ride into the cataclysm Burn away the panic and the doubt In case you missed it, the last of the first two lines of each stanza are reversed (if that's even how you'd say it) Regardless of whether you understood that or not, the lyrics in order respectively are: cataclysm, silent prison, paradise, sacrifice sacrifice, paradise, silent prison, cataclysm Maybe some of you missed this, maybe some didn't, maybe everyone's missed this so far or maybe everyone picked up on it and I'm just pointing out the obvious, but nevertheless I think this deserves recognition and appreciation. It really adds to the lyrics and reminiscing to the old song. Keep up the good work Gav

I love how the bridge before the last chorus is the opposite of Cataclysm's chorus. "Fly another path of sacrifice/Sanctuary born of sacrifice" "Face another fallen paradise/Shadows of a ravaged paradise" "Just another silent prison/Awoken in a silent prison" "Ride into the cataclysm/Children of the cataclysm" I noticed the callback from the start, but I didn't realize until my second listen that the last words were Cataclysm's in reverse order.
