There’s bonus dialogue directly after Cayde gives Crow the cloak if you’re playing Hunter! He says “Good job on dodging the Dare, that’s why you’re my favorite.”

As a Warlock, he told me "You're still my favorite". Nice to see the added dialogue for Hunters, the same as Petra and Mara do if your character is an Awoken

Well this is because of the fact that bungie has a LOT of characters. A lot of them have to be sidelined. It's their own fault for opening so many plot points. At least they do them justice in the lore, but how many people in destiny actually read the lore

I mean, sure Uldren Sov died and came back as Crow, but Crow knows who he was now. He just has the gift of a different perspective, he's still the one who killed Cayde-6 now he's just got the benefit of knowing it was the wrong choice (manipulated though he was) The Dare might not be law but it's upheld here just fine.

I don’t think Bungie will wants to pay Nathan Fillion’s salary for episodes. since he told Crow he’s the new HV, I’d bet $100 bucks this is Nathan’s last performance as Cayde. I’m guessing he either dies saving Crow, or he sacrifices himself by using his fancy new traveler/ghost light construct body to fix our broken and dying ghost. As it stands, Ghost is going to die any moment now unless something or someone intervenes. Since Cayde doesn’t seem to be too thrilled with being brought back without Sundance, my money is on handsome heroic sacrifice.

He should be pretty much able to go back to the city assuming that Riven didn't twist Crow's desires in a sadistic way. All in all he can learn to use the darkness the same way Osiris and Zavala (currently) did upon losing their light so he isn't defenseless either. What they said might be true though, paying the voice actor on an episodic basis may be a bit too costy but I doubt that means they will kill him again

I do not play Destiny. I DO however love the time and energy and voice actors woven into the stories and the characyers themselves. Having that said I feel Keith David is an amazing honorable torch to which Zavala has been passed. If only briefly ( i suspect Zavala will be retired for D3) Regardless Goliath in destiny? Fillion back for the end? You D2 players have some sweet as heck casting Maybe I'll take a look come D3.
