Keep in mind they said "certain abilities" so it'll likely be a curated list. Meaning we'll have access to some, not all, of the other subclasses. "No one would use the other 5 subclasses if they all got merged into one" was probably their line of thinking in development (sure, subclass-less game sounds nice but I don't think it would be very intuitive for new players; so this became a compromise).

It's varying degrees imo. The Taken are the closest, then the Scorn, and now the Dread are largely comprised of completely original enemy designs and attack patterns.

Seems to be quite reasonable that the dread were realized in the delay, if anything was added (just more time to get the DLC done as a whole could also make sense). The original Final Shape Show put emphasis solely on subjugators, while also not wording sentences in any way that teased further new enemies. Prismatic seems to have been planned already, as tesselation had the whole "all subclass colors in the weapon quartz + can be any element" Spiel in the original show already.

prismatic is neither light or dark , so the red subclass is still a possibility. probably coming in episode 1 or after we rip the darkness from witness at the end of campaign

@@ariansadri708 you could use the shoulder charge as movement, cause you can just shoulder charge consecutively, if you don’t hit anything then it uses the charge. but people whined about it in pvp, so they put a (i could be wrong about the exact time, i haven’t played the game in a while) 8ish second “cooldown” on shoulder charger before you could use it again.

It’s interesting. Destiny is special to me, and by extension I held Bungie in esteem for providing this special thing ‘the right way’ while devs got pummeled in other studios. Many things have altered my feelings over the years. The growing influence of intense monetization on the overall design, content vaulting, an impenetrable barrier to entry for new players, tone deaf updates, and lastly the abrupt termination of so many people while the ‘decision makers’ seemed untouched. The final shape looks dope. But i feel this reveal could have been so much more powerful and meaningful if things were… not like they are now. I wonder how much of this amazing content was created and developed by people who were cut loose in the final mile of this special game.

@@file9317 Transcendence is a secondary super with its own gauge...with pink magic grenades. It's kinda like Radiance from D1. Combines effects but has its own particle effects and animation.
