How to tonics: Go to the mixing table Pick a green quality tonic to mix A hidden counter for that tonic goes up by one When the counter on that tonic reaches 5, the blue quality recipe for that tonic unlocks (Presumably, the blue quality recipe also has a hidden 5 counter, which unlocks the purple quality recipe) To note: Picking a tonic to mix immediately consumes the ingredients for it. You may find it easier to imagine as if you are grabbing a bottle and throwing all of the ingredients in, right then and there. Going to the cabinet and fiddling with the mixer is all just for show, you have already "spent" the required items. You only get the finished product once you perform the "Infuse with Light" step of the process.

Play your 30 minutes of story, grind 20 hours of onslaught until you get a roll on a weapon you can settle on since you can’t craft weapons, make some potions until you realize there’s nothing else until the dungeon then head to the forums to call bungie washed, there saved you all 13 minutes

I think people are just overcomplicating things on their own, while using the devs pervious mistakes as a cornerstone or foundation to just hate on anything that comes out for the game. The whole tonic system is simple yet complicated in retrospect. Sure the devs could of done something as simple as have a character explain some things, like have them go "hey keep making some tonics and you might have an Epiphany on how to strengthen them or even craft entirely brand new ones" but more accurate to the characters personality. I've been having the most fun regardless of other people's opinions. People tend to forget that destiny isn't JUST a fps it's also got a lot of mmo elements to it too. If they wanted something simple they should just go back to playing cod.

@@Salmontres See I can't really argue against people that stuck it out till now because I left right after Forsaken dropped (I'm not in the wider community, that DLC was abysmal especially when you retroactively compare it to something like Final Shape) and didn't return until Season of the Witch was in its fourth week and ever since I have been hooked because it feels like Bungie finally gave me what I wanted (solo player content galore with dungeons, legendary campaigns, fireteam finder, juicy lore tabs) and I've been glued to it ever since as if it was The Taken King era all over again.

Quick note, I have been running some nightfalls and onslaughts and I have been using Wicked Implement and running anti barrier scout on the artifact, BUT for some reason it will not work. Other scout rifles like the new Live Fire works but Wicked Implement will not. Don't know if this is a bug or not.

quite simple, it is not a bug, you just can't have a weapon able to stun all 3 champs. I had the same question last year and this was my logical conclusion

@@zacharyabenante1814 technically on prismatic since you can proc radiant easily you should be able to make it works. Because from what I tested the limitation only exists when the gun has 2 intrinsic anti champs capabilities and you want to add an artefact perk on top of it. Using verbs such as radiant should counter this. Using arcan needle is best .

Honestly onslaught has been my favorite activity that launched before the expansion and other then a few cool prismatic combo builds they have made me less and less excited for any new season. Use to seem like a epic time when new content launched but they give us nothing to get us hyped

Yep Bungo bombed big time. I played through the incredibly lame opening mission, had carpal tunnel by the time I was done with the stupid useless potion garbage, and then reveled in the horribly regurgitated content and story lines before I logged off disappointed. Yay I get to spend a season being Crows buddy and hunting a Scorn that just came out of nowhere and has no relation to the previous season while playing Stasis for 3 months straight🙄. No expansion on prismatic, or any other class for that matter, no new seasonal content, just play Onslaught again and be happy. Anyone with 2 brain cells to rub together can see Bungie literally scrambled and threw this dumpster fire together to try and keep the game alive instead of listening to the players like they should. Pretty sure this will be the end for a lot of players.

Over the last couple of years, I have become less and less interested in the game because of convoluted activities like this one. It just seems like it's overly complicated (I'm not a blueberry, I have over 2500 hours in the game) but I just don't find this part of the game fun. honestly this is going to be the worst season/episode ever, some of the content i did today was embarrassing. kill 15 ads in 2 minutes? that mission that was mostly dialogue then carry a ball and dunk? giving us onslaught as the main activity, people only liked it before because it was new and we were all hyped for the new expansion. Destiny will hit all new lows over the next few months, it really feels like a game that recently fired loads of staff. I hope the dungeon can step things up for a bit. I think Tyson Green has said all the right things, but waiting till his content comes through is going to be painfully boring.
