@@Grayves_X nah they forgot to put skybox lol. it's supposed to be stationed above the city so it's not in an enclosed space. And there are bunch of purple geometry when you look outside the window so they definitely forgot to add textures.

If you want gear apparently you can farm Dul incaru (shattered throne boss) or first contact end cp before the pods to get seasonal with tonics every 2-3 minutes instead of playing onslaught for 40 minutes to an hour. Although if you want tonic ingredients onslaught is still the best farm method for those.

What I appreciate so much about Bungie as a Destiny veteran is that the new season is so complex that you are finally completely spared from new players. The community is getting smaller and smaller, but I now know the whole family of every member of my fireteam. Jack's sister is getting married next week & Steven's mom makes really good meatloaf.

@@danprice7973 they cut a lot of the filler from the season story so where we had to complete a full run of the seasonal activity and then go back for more information it was just 2 missions. So it went from weekly with 6 steps a week to complete to can be done all at one with only 10 steps 😂 I’ve got back into it a little as I really like the new dungeon but the season seems very undercooked story

Booby trap ammo is avoidable with Alethonmy equipped as you can create your own ammo, also i recommend doing the fieldwork quests in order as i'm struggling to level up my 2nd character because i chose randomly whereas they were more straightforward on my main.

Beat 50 waves last night with my clutch sword build. It’s actually very fun. The tier 3 turret SHREDS! Got to a point where my team was protecting me as I shredded those ridiculously chunky cabal commanders.

Wife and I sat down ready for a long night of Destiny. Finished the “Act” in 1.5 hours. Zero metal music, zero intriguing story (we all knew what it was before it launched), a fieldwork that took longer to fly from orbit and back than it took to complete it, and absolutely massive letdown in general. We sat there dumbfounded like “wait…. You’re kidding right, THAT was an ACT?”

The tier 3 turret can nuke things so fast even in expert, I was using it with the air strikes and was clearing expert pretty cleanly. Also, the air strikes can be used on the ground to turn them into traps, I personally like getting them and placing the lasers around the adu so that if something gets close it gets nuked

I like placing them on decoys so they last a little longer. Enemies don't burn them down as fast. Putting them on the Adu is a good idea too, never thought of that.

Yeah, everything in the Act may be playable, but it's about the same amount of content as any other season launch for week 1. It seems they made the same content they usually would for a week 1 then said lets call it a day and just tell them you can do it all immediately.

And the potion system has to be one of the worst things they have ever created. Removing weapon crafting was a huge mistake. This loot grind is awful

I remember watching the reveal and thinking “I hope it’s not just all onslaught…” Also, I was so excited for act 1 to drop all at once, because I thought that at that point it would actually feel like something of real substance, but it didn’t. I played one onslaught, crafted a potion, killed about 30 ads, and that was it… for what was originally supposed to be 3 weeks of “content”… Season “feels” good so far, and it’s only been one day, so I’m going to keep an open mind, but I’m a little disappointed so far at the prospect that for the next few weeks there’s going to be absolutely nothing new other than the dungeon.

It went to the postmaster for me. I didn't realize until later when I had already further progressed the quest. Then a few hours later I went to check on my lost and found and had a quest step qust sitting there. Picked it up, now I'm softlocked on the "pick up the ingredients" step. I am no longer able to craft Tonics🙂

I picked up an upgrade you attach to the tonic machine that has another glass vial with liquid in it on the top and what looks like Fikruls mask at the very bottom laying next to it. It fit in one of the circles on the ground that is placed on the floor around the machine. There are three more circles that dont have anything placed yet but I dont know where I got it and I noticed it only shows on my Warlock. Shouldnt all three characters have it?

Very unique opportunity for the team to just expand the last city. Don't remove this area. Keep it. Keep onslaught salvation, just move it into the regular onslaught rotation. Allow us to keep using tonics after Apollo launches. Keep expanding the last city each content drop. It would be similar to actual MMOs.
