I received my destiny-deck today and am very disappointed. It is just one more deck prepared to hold two cards together - nothing more. And I think that the routine with turning the card piles are very transparent for the audience. The viewers are not as stupid as some of us think.

Nobody thinks spectators are stupid. Some of us have better skills than others and we can get away with way more than novices. I don't worry about getting caught because is super rare that I ever do. Keep practicing.

BUYER BEWARE!!! The DESTINY DECK CANNOT be handled by the spectator...But..., more importantly, the SINGLE CARDS LOOK THICK. You have to be blind not to see them. Plays well on video but not in real life...good for stage but not for close up. Save your $$$.

You are harming magic and the producers with this kind of "review", and I REALLY hope you are taking it down and in the future you do reviews where you do not reveal the method. This is POSSIBLE!!!

Card-Shark hi, thanks for you comment and for producing this deck. I will indeed bring the video down if you say in your website the following. The deck cannot be fully examined, there is a force card so you cannot repeat the trick and also the deck is made of plastic so it doesn’t feel or look like a normal deck of cards and its not suitable for close up, these are things you should’ve added on your website to let people know what they are buying. I will then remove it until then you should also check out a website that sells your trick for €2-3 minus the deck but that I won’t “reveal”

@@magicemporiumreviews4222 well, first of all, you are wrong in many parts, for instance that the cards would be plastic, would not be perfect for close-up, that it would not be examinable. You should see the performance of Paul Gertner at Penn and Teller recently, or Shin Lim at the Jimmy Fallon show. Or the show of Joshua Jay at Penn and Teller, when he gives away the deck. But hey, all you can do is taking someone else's work and "comment" on it: how about if YOU put out something and put all your heart into it and let it get revealed (and therefore devalued) by someone else?! You really have NO idea about the potential of this effect. Just owning them does not mean "owning" them.

When i buy something i would like to know what i can do with it if i buy a lawnmower that only cuts certain types of grass then i should know that. As you and i know very well joshua jay has a way out for examination as he has several blank cards for examination he is a very clever fella, this however is not or did you forget about this with joshuas deck? Unless i got a prototype this deck cannot be fully examined unless you are dealing with complete morons or people that are completely distracted by being look at or in a crowd you stick a dubious person in the equation that is a bit of an asshole like im being now and your trick crumbles. I stick by what i said you make people aware of what i said and ill remove it until then I won’t

@Owen YEOW [08H2] First of all he is scamming people with a low quality deck and a really high price. Secondly this isn't about the magicians' code, it's about making money. The trick would be revealed anyway if the spectators try to examine the deck.

The method is clever, no doubt and it has not been done before but then again, this is basically rough and smooth 2.0 80 Euros is a bit of a rip off.

I agree with Damian Gomez - this is a reveal, not a review. Plus - he doesn’t appear to know how to handle the deck or how to present the effect. Unfortunately, KZbin is full of this type of thing.

Thats wrong. If u like the trick and u want to perform it yourself, u will buy the deck anyway. No matter whether u saw this vid or not. But i want to know WHAT im buying. The only ppl you lose with this vid are those who would be disappointed if they bought the deck and noticed that important information was missing. Like that you cant give the deck away or how thick the cards really are. Thats the problem with selling magic.
