I was so delighted for him when he won the World Championship. Whatever happens now, that World Championship title will always be his.

What I’ve noticed…: 1.. He puts his darts where his mouth is… 2.. you can’t have rowdy players with quiet audiences… 3.. you can’t have rowdy audiences and boringly quiet competitors… 4.. when you have rowdy crowds, you have to expect some rowdiness in the players… 5.. he has obviously come through the dart school of hard knocks… happy to see him emerge better for it… 👋🏼👌🏼👍🏼

I always knew that in order to be a successful person, you need to have a story to tell, and you need to be able to sell that story. You need to articulate that story better than the others. Barry Hearn is a genius, and he is a masterful story teller. It's a great story about Gezzy and I love how Barry made it about what Gezzy means for darts. Great video PDC, thank you!

Gezzy is a winner with bulletproof confidence. There's very little difference between the top players in ability but it's that impenetrable mindset that determines champions who do it time after time. In my opinion only a handful have that level of confidence: Gezzy, Phil Taylor, MVG, Peter Wright and Eric Bristow.

I really enjoyed watching this. I also think Barry is right - this is a new world of darts - and I think Gerywn's personality is a positive step in the right direction for the amazing sport. People wont agree with me, but Gerwyn is a great family man who is passionate about the game - I for one really like him.

Fan since the first match of the grand slam 2018, I like his emotions and this fever to the sport, sometimes I was a bit dissapointed when he act a bit unfair but he learned from that and managed it to be better and better. People always hate him cause his celebration, but what is sport without celebration and polarizing. Wish him all the best for the future!

I've been very impressed by the way Gerwyn bounced back from his first premier league attempt. He got absolutely pasted that season, could've left him questioning whether he had it or not but came back bigger and better

I wasn't a fan at first of his attitude on stage but the more I've seen of him and heard him speak the more I've liked him. He admitted he probably went a little far at times but I think anyone on that stage with everyone watching would get pumped up especially if the crowds against. Good luck to him

He shows that it's all about desire, passion and dedication to become that good at a sport. He is amazing although he really polarizes. BUT in between he is a great sportsman in darts even if he loses. His big strength is his will and really strong mind that can't be as manipulated by fans as you see at other players. He almost always has to deal with an audience that boos at him but he manages to get even better

I played almost all my life Table Tennis since I was 7 years old, just at 21 I became a federated player from 1996 to 2006 I competed those 10 years only in national federated tournaments, now I am a Table Tennis coach and a month ago my Nephew and my cousin showed me this sport of darts as a curiosity ... and here I am, at 48 years old starting in this addictive sport of Pubs and Bars, I did not think it was so competitive ...
