I’ve known Simon for over thirty years he’s the same person now as he was back then. He was pushing me to take my game to the next level but I didn’t have the drive and determination to go there. I’m extremely proud to know him and I do believe if my name was mentioned in a conversation with him he’d probably still say I could have made it in England.

Had the privilege to play the wizard for one game. I was at a paint and decorating show type thing and himself and Phil Taylor were there as they were sponsored by Leyland, if you beat them they would give you a signed tshirt... Nether the less I lost but he still signed it for me... Absolute legend.

Only ever actually met Simon once when he was playing juniors for NSW at Gosford for the Australian Junior Titles... Great bloke & the NSW Boys had their Boom Box going & they were playing The B52's music. (Rock Lobster was the big hit that was on repeat) Great times & have avidly watched his career blossom. I like Simon and a Great ambassador for Australia...if I could say one thing. A bit like Michael Smith...is slow it down 5%. I've felt that Simon's "rhythm" was a factor in not progressing further sometimes. Keeping that consistent tempo...I say this respectfully. Best for the 2022 season.
