it seems like everyone but the user of the offering is more likely to get rewards from my experience. i got the but not forgotten from another guys offering and from my perfected dreg i got nothing but everyone else got 1-2 pieces of loot. it's definitely geared for large parties of friends that all have an offering each.

perfected offerings are easy, four g-horns and a tether and the boss is dead before the orb fully opens

You have to destroy those Siva nodes that spawn when the alarm goes off or they'll say you're not worthy and you wont get good rewards.

You do get exclusive rewards. It's all RNG. I'd say there's about a 1 in 3 chance of getting a drop from any tier. Can't confirm the stat but the rewards exist and they're progressive for light levels.

How many quests are there? I've done everything except Thorn and am still getting greens. All missions done too. Shiro hasn't given me Thorn quest, but other than that... Also what are splicer keys for? And what's a fast way to get Archon's Forge offerings? I want new guns and armor.

The drop rate in the forge is horrendous, I've completely 22 so far with a fair amount being from my own offerings. And out of all of them I've seen 3 warlock bonds

They did. They removed legendary engrams from the reward table. Now, items drop ridiculously more often.

Ive done a huge and quick vandal, a humongous servitor, and a captain you can guess acted like an archon, but then i got 3 perfected shanks all normal sized with health bars like the one on this dreg...horrible, you couldn't find them.

Anyone else feel like the Archons Forge was implemented absolutely horribly? For starters its in a completely seperate zone from the Archons Keep. If I see 16 players out in the Keep, I have zero chance of actually playing with them in the Forge because they get matchmade into a different instance. So what am I supposed to do, just sit there and hope somebody puts an offering in? In Court of Oryx it was out there in the open, not its own seperate area. Not to mention the fact that you dont get your offerings back if you fail like how you get Runes back in the Court. I got a Perfected Offering pretty early on, got to 351 Light, and I went to go use it to get some loot. I was just in the Keep and I saw some people walking up to the Forge with me so I thought I was gonna have backup. As I Offer the SIVA I turn around and realize that there's nobody else with me. I stand there confused for a moment then decide to jump in and try to solo it, but by that time the wall had already closed and it wouldnt let me in. Havent been able to get any more offerings either. You can hold one offering at a time, youre punished severely if you fail, and its nearly impossible to get randoms to play it with you. Its like they went out of their way to do everything they possibly could to make sure the mode was extremely inconvenient. I havent even had the chance to play it yet. With the Court I could see if there were people at it. I could just jumo right in and help out. But because the Forge is its own zone, its impossible to do that. You either have to bring a fireteam ( which kind defeats the point of it being a "public event") or just sit there and hope somebody shows up since nobody in the Keep has anyway of knowing youre in there. Ugh.

the fact that the loot isn't garenteed is annoying, but the worst part is the fact you can only hold one Siva offering at a time! even different kinds! I hope that Bungie changes or so that they at least go to the postmaster, I've had a few occasions where I got 2 offerings at the same time (not same enemy) and I just couldn't pick up the damn thing, and I think "this is stupid" and honestly, quite a few things in this expansion felt disappointing. but hey, it's better than no content at all!

Transfer it to your vault (on you phone or computer) and pick up the other one. you can even store them on your other characters. I held 4 one on each and one in the vault, and just transferred to start a new one unless i found one in the forge.
