This was a tragedy in music history... they could have been like tlc and had the biggest album of all time as a group if they stayed together...I’m still effed up about this and this was over 2 decades ago ...I wish they would reunite minus old and even new management and just come back together as sisters and cut the middle man out

Tlc’s album crazy sexy cool went diamond ... and that was only on 1 album... destinys child could have had a diamond album on survivor if letoya stayed and contributed... no offense to Michelle or Latavia but it would have worked out so much in their favor like that

Theres multiple things wrong with what those journalists said, but I just wanna address the things that bugged me the most. 1. Yes Beyonce wrote, produced and sang lead on the bulk of Destinys Child songs, but that IS NOT parallel to what happened in The Supremes! Dianas role was strictly to sing lead! She never wrote or anything of the sort! 2. No, Destinys child was nothing similar to The Supremes when it came to the changing of group members! The Supremes only had one group member replacement when Cindy Birdsong came in to take Florence Ballards place. They kept using Supreme comparisons to Destinys Child, yet the know nothing of The Supremes! Beyonce did a lot for DC, but to compare them to The Supremes is just wrong! They're groups with two completely different dynamics!

honestly everyone put urself in their shoes... wouldn't YOU feel like ur working SOOOO hard for NO money, and in your mind the "lead" vocalist BEYONCE is getting a higher Pay... i wud DEF have some questions...cause i cant even support my mom and MY family!!!!!

Thing is all 4 got paid equally right? I remember Bey telling Wendy Williams back in the day that she bought a Jaguar with their 1st big pay check and she said that they chose to do whatever it is they wanted to do with their money. But it's like how could she not see that yes although they are getting paid equally 4ways for everything that they do, she still have way more money than them. They use their checks to take care of themselves and families whereas Bey didn't have to give any of hers to the household because Mathew charged the girls 20% management fee which standard is 10 to 15%. So he's getting quite a bit of money off the top. Then Tina is getting paid for being stylist and hairstylist to each girl. Then Solange getting paid for being a backup dancer. Then Angie Beyince which is Beyoncé 1st cousin was being paid as a personal assistant then the road manager was Beyonce cousin as well. So it's like all of bey fam was on payroll. She literally got to splurge her checks while they had to budget because naturally you're gonna give some to family back home. Letoya mama Ms Pamela Luckett was driving around in an old Mazda when bey bought herself that jaguar. Letoya cell phone got turned off bihhhh ya hear me! Turned off! Cuz she couldn't pay the Bill! 🤦🏿‍♂️Best thing ever is they all cowrote on the writings on the wall album which was their Best selling album, and had some of their biggest hits. So the publishing checks are nice which is how Latavia has sustained herself outside of music for so many years. Everytime those songs are played they get a check. And with Bey being the lead and the popularity that she has now, those checks are $$$ and they got a nice settlement after suing Mathew Beyoncé and Kelly and Columbia records I believe.

@@true90skid if u learn more about the music industry many many artists sign bogus contracts where they get ripped off, the original DC4 member all did EXCEPT for Beyonce and MAYBE kelly rowland. Its extremely common, look at backstreet boys, New edition, TLC, Toni Braxton, total, , nsync, Blaque, shit the list goes on and on…. In one interview Mathew goes “ latavia & letoya missed out 35 million dollers” so mathews lying ass claimed they missed out million, Michelle williams Is NO WHERE NEAR CLOSE TO THAT…
