I was a kid when my momma had this album. She would clean the house, dance and cook to this album and then when my momma, aunties or my female cousins would run errands together, this album would the soundtrack to them tearing up the highway 😂😂😂😂😂 Plus this album was played at Black Cookouts especially "Is She The Reason" (sample of the iconic Melba Moore). Oh how I miss being a Black kid, Destiny's Child was commerically huge globally and in 2005 Destiny Child surpassed TLC and Spice Girls as the World's Greatest Selling Female Group of All Time at the 2005 World Music Awards, but Spice Girls and TLC currently battle for that title. As a kid we had Destiny's Child, Beyonce, Usher, Alicia Keys, Ashanti, 50 Cent, Nelly, Mariah Carey, Ludacris, Kanye West (when he had common sense and loved being Black), Lil Wayne, and much commercially successful artists. We also had Disney Channel at it's high with The Cheetah Girls (Whitney Houston proudced), That's so Raven, The Proud Family, Suit Life of Zach n Cody, Phill of the Future, Stuck in The Suburbs, Wendy Wu Home coming warrior, Buzz on Maggie, that Disney Olympic show where all the Disney stars would compete in different teams in different colors. Plus we had 106 n Park, Cartoon Network, the good era of VH1, Nickelodeon, and so much stuff. I know I went on a rant, but growing up in the 2000s was the sssshhhhh

My brother…….You gotta review the entire album. Destinys child last album was sort of like a homage to that “boom bap” NYC rap & R&B era with the beats that was pick on there. Beyonce got left over beats from what Jay z didn’t pick. Beyonce picked all the beats for this album. Her ear is incredible and amazing. She’s underrated when it comes to getting. Credit for pick songs because she would get backlash from acting like she wrote the songs, but you gotta react to “If” by destinys child. They went back to that 70s group harmonies, vocal layering and they did a little 70s rap at the end like you heard from 70s music. Again, this entire album (Destiny Fulfilled) is fire 🔥.

Wait? These songs are HOV rejects?? Where did you hear that?? Sean Garrett, Rodney Jerkins, and others never said their tracks were originally for Jay. In fact, i cant hear him over most of the tracks because they are to melodic. Hip-hop tracks are not melodic, they are more tempo driven because rap is spoken word said over the tempo of a beat. As to were r&b is sung to the melody of the beat. Also, the tracks are feminine. What may be true in your statement is that Bey chose most of the tracks. That could be true, because she was already writing the album while on tour for "Dangerously in Love."

My one of my favorite songs off of "Destiny Fulfilled." Jack, they actually recorded this entire album in 2 weeks. They rented out an entire studio. They had a producer in every room, each girl went from room to room recording, everyday for two weeks. They recorded over 25 songs. 10 made the album. With about 5 or 6 songs being bonus tracks on different editions around the world, and on itunes. And then a few more being leaked in their "demo" form on youtube. Which is the only versions they exist in. Because what they did was, they recorded demos, or listened to demos Bey had already done. They picked the 10-15 tracks they loved, and that told the story the best. Recorded those and they had the album. Although it took only 2 weeks to officially record the album. Bey had been writing and recording demos already while she was tour. I even think, a few songs they did were actually songs she didnt use for "Dangerously in Love." Kelly and Michelle just added their lyrics and voices to them.
