Destiny: Solas is an original show that takes place in an alternate version of Destiny, reinterpreted with different lore, characters, and narrative. It was created by Gage Allen, known for directing and capturing official game trailers across several high profile game titles. He is also the writer, director, and capture artist of This Is Battlefield, This is Forza Horizon, and Episode 1 of Destiny Solas.
Destiny Solas was first started in 2015, when Gage began working on a new alternate idea of Destiny. The show progressed over the years and through different iterations, before its first episode released in 2022.
Episode 2 has been in production for over two years, culminating in an ambitious release showing the foundations of what Player One Stories envisions this show to be.

You know for a long while I thought of my own series like this where we follow a fireteam of guardians (plus a second team to have a full raid team of 6) go through the entire Destiny games and seeing a personal spin on it for the characters. This is closest and I know it will be amazing

Hey all! Gage Here. We have an important announcement regarding Episode 2. We are very nearly complete with the entire episode, which runs about 1:30:00 in length, but we feel we need an extra two weeks to polish up what is left before release. I had the choice to either go ahead and release our episode tomorrow, or give the team another two weeks to get that last bit of polish. I chose to give us the additional two weeks. Our aim is to release between September 12-16th. We know this can be frustrating to hear after all this time, but trust me when I say we're working incredibly hard to give you the best episode we can make. We'd rather extend the time by two weeks and release a better episode than rush it out now and forever live with the fact we could've given it a bit more of a shine. We hope you understand, and we'll see you in a couple weeks.

I'm starting to think they were never even working on it, and now they are because they thought it would be a good idea to just throw out a release date trailer for something that was never even in the works. so, we might have to wait a lot longer. plus, they are probably in panic mode right now because of this whole thing, and they are just going to rush together some shitty episode, so keep expectations low. take everything with a grain of salt. because this is the worst release date timing I've ever seen, this is unacceptable, it's fucking October 24th, about to be November soon.
