These are elected representatives. In a democracy, people make informed decisions about candidates and cast their vote for the one they support. But these people are not only voting for them, they are actively involved in their rallies and campaigns, and bear some responsibility for the results of these representatives actions. The democratic process is used to resolve differences of opinion instead of violence. But if you are attending the rallies of a man who unironically planned and orchestrated a scheme to change the results of an election, whose supporters overwhelmingly believe the election was stolen, agree with his actions, or call it "not a big deal". Then at the very least you shouldn't expect sympathy when someone takes drastic actions that are outside the bounds of the democratic process. This goes beyond differences of opinion, these people are trying to destroy or at best undermine the process used for resolving these differences. And when they can't do either, they utilise the judiciary to bypass the legislature completely. And when they get caught doing the former, they use the latter to protect themselves from the consequences of their actions. You cannot unironically be surprised when this makes people feel disenfranchised and they start doing crazy stuff. You reap what you sow.

Trump accomplished nothing outside the system of our democracy, nor was it possible for him to do so. So what if Pence HAD declared Trump’s group of electors? Do you think Congress would have just said “Ok; you got us. Trump wins.”? Do you really think that would have happened? Are you as dumb as Destiny is? The VP declaring the electors is a ceremonial position. We have committees and systems for if something like this happens. Should Trump go to jail if there is evidence that he formulated the electors scheme? I think so. But did it have any effect on our democracy? No. Is he still winning in the polls, making the entire argument moot? Yes. Is the president a dictator? No. If Biden is a dictator, why doesn’t he just cancel the election? Destiny said he can do that, right? And there can’t be any investigation? Why not do that? Your only argument is “Biden is too decent to abuse his power.” A) Bullshit. And B] Isn’t Trump SO EVIL and SO DANGEROUS that it would justify Biden seizing power just to stop Trump? Do you REALLY believe that we now live in a system where every president has unlimited power? If you do, you’re a fool, same as Destiny. You know who doesn’t believe that? Every Democrat in office right now. If they believed it, they would be urging Biden to stop the election and not allow Trump to even run. But no one is saying that. They’re just telling Biden to step down because he can’t win. Why would they need to worry about him winning if the presidential office has unlimited power? Destiny is 100% wrong and unhinged in his reading of the SC ruling. Robert’s specifically says that the immunity only counts in situations where the president is operating in pursuit of his responsibilities as president. Assassinating political rivals is not part of the duties of the office of president. And let’s assume for a moment that Destiny was right, and that a president could be immune from prosecution. What would happen next? Every single congressional member would vote to impeach him, because who wants someone in charge who might KILL THEM if they piss him off? And then he would be prosecuted, or evicted from office. His approval rating would plummet nationwide, and his professional life would be over, if he somehow avoided jail time. Destiny did not even attempt to think any of this through because he’s so angry that he hasn’t even attempted to think straight on this. He has not even bothered to consider any counter arguments. He’s gone completely off the rails, and so have you people buying into this dictator theory. Why is it that you keep saying TRUMP is now a dictator? He’s not even in office. Biden is in office. Why aren’t you saying that Biden is now a dictator? I think we both know why.

Destiny got a SUSPENSION for MOCKING A MAN WHO DIED PROTECTING HIS FAMILY FROM GUNFIRE. That’s slightly different from saying that you think there’s a difference between biological women and trans women but you still love and sympathize with trans women, and being subsequently boycotted by millions of people.

It's so insane to characterize the Trump rally attendee as "less brave" than people in Palestine. Like why does that even matter? It's just disrespectful to make fun of individuals directly after their deaths. Especially this one who was a firefighter protecting his family. Destiny needs to calm down.

If he wanted to protect his family why did he bring them to what amounts to a black shirt rally for Mussolini or a brown shirt rally for Hitler? We’ve had nothing but violent and dehumanizing rhetoric from their kind for months? Excuses for when their kind is violent like the hatchet man at a BLM rally who they tried to paint as a victim when protesters defended themselves including one woman who was injured. Or fascist agitators armed to fight getting intercepted in their rented U-Haul by police on the way to attack a pride event. This is not including the numerous vehicle attacks on protests that get next to NO news coverage. This is his movement and the man brought his family to the rally? I’d argue DCFS should’ve intervened. The man was playing Russian roulette with his family’s lives! I refuse to take the terroristic Trump movement as a legitimate political movement anymore. They’ve said with their own words this is a revolution and they’re getting away with it as long as the left does nothing. A revolution to install Trump as defacto dictator. I’d argue the fact they feel SAFE to publicly support the destruction of our nation is part of the problem especially after engaging in a coordinated campaign via the federalist society to stack our courts with sycophancy for decades. We should never want things to get to this point but this is end result of a project going back to the Nixon era to insure the next criminal republican president will not be held accountable. Also we owe people who call asylum seekers vermin, call us pedophiles for supporting human rights, and support using the military to crack down on blue states and round up 10 million+ no single bit of charity. I’ll stop when they do.

Claiming TDS is a foolproof strategy. You don’t need an argument, you don’t need to listen to your opponents argument, you just disregard the other side in one sentence. It takes so much unraveling to prove your innocence of TDS, and it completely derails the conversation from talking about anything Trump could have done wrong.

@@Gassacre Yet the Biden scandals A-OK, Trump’s cases being dropped and he gets charged from a judge who was not only partisan and changed the ability for the jury to not even require a majority vote to convict him on anything, while Biden’s laptop and dealings in Ukraine and overseas are just swept under. The Supreme Court gives immunity but with limitations, another misconception liberals have. Just saying if you are trying to charge Trump, your DNC friends would be convicted with a harder crime because it’s 10 times worst.

You have selective morals from an unstable foundation of subjective morality which is a by product of atheism. this leaves you unable to see right or wrong as an absolute which will leave you ultimately shooting yourself in the foot at every turn in life unless you gas light or become willfully ignorant.. THIS is WHY you face this situation and it wont be the last as from the materialist world view all things concerning morality is debatable therefor is subjective and then you select what you determine as right based on your opinion of things..
