I remember playing the beta, I instantly feel in love with the game, i played that beta every second I could. I don't kno what it is now but destiny isn't what it once was. They need to open up the universe of destiny and add free roam to tons of new worlds, little side quests that millions of people haven't even found yet. There's so much potential.

The story in the DLCs lacked a lot. Vanilla to Rise of Iron (Taken King and Rise of Iron had basic story beats, some interest stuff with hive and Siva) D2 vanilla and DLCs Proceeded to shit the bed with vanilla and first two DLCs ( just like D1) and it shit over lore stuff like Ana bray and Rasputin. Forsaken actually had a story again but was kinda stupid, same with shadowkeep. I miss joe staten, at least story dialogue and presentation was never canned, except with Miranda Keyes.

It’s crazy to think that now, after 6 years, we will soon finally encounter the darkness and whatever hell it brings with it. I remember coming home from school on a Friday night and trying to beat the spider tank just before Sepiks and it taking me just over 2 hours with some random guys who I never would think would become my close raid buddies. “Life was simpler back then” is a phrase that people always throw around, but it really was easier 6 years ago. Now I’m graduating and starting a new part of my life. To the brothers that stayed with me from that spider tank till the darkness’s 2nd arrival, you are and always will be my fireteam. Thank you for everything.

Boy oh boy! The goosebumps will never stop. Every scene is filled with overwhelming nostalgia. I miss the days of farming for the perfect armors and weapons. Picking random guardians in the tower to help them level up. Running raids with your fireteam. Remembering that your guardian actually spoke and not just "little light". Last but not least, when every mission felt like an accomplishment because they gave gear or weapons specifically to that content. The grind for a gjallarhorn or the vex mythoclast. D2 was all down hill for me when cayde was killed. He was the best out of all the vanguard.

best game I've ever played. so many memories from September 2014. joining my 1st crucible game, Toland's legacy, my 1st exotic from Xur,(plan C), my 1st time descending into the infamous vault of glass, never seen so many vex in my life, had no idea what to do or where to hide. Opening the exotic chest and getting my 1st exotic from it, many many tries later(patience and time), defeating Atheon and receiving the vex mythoclast from my 1st hard mode victory. man I wish I could type everything I've experienced from this masterpiece of a game and all the friends I made :(

My all time favourite game, I have been playing it since the 1st DLC. It was around then I created our clan The "Gunnaripyaanuones" (Gonna rip ya a new ones). We are still going strong as we await the latest Destiny 2 DLC "Beyond Light" we are at 95 members, (we have to do a purge every now and then to boot players that haven't been on in a prolonged period.. We have a terrific clan of good sports men and women, we help each other out with challenges and have a great camaraderie. I've made friends here that I know will be with me the rest of my days.. Thank you xTGE for putting this all together. I agree with you yes RIP Dinklebot.. his dulcet tones added so much to the game, it was a sad loss. losing Cayde was also a terrific loss I'm sure all miss his humour....
