The Gorgons are a fair bit more creepy than that. If you are caught in the Gorgon’s gaze you are erased from time, yes, from which you never existed. Your fireteam will continue on never remembering that you even existed in the first place.

@@Ahnock As far as I know there is no quote that says that. There is a quote that states "No one can open the vault alone" but nothing saying "only 6." It's also super easy to open the vault with only 3 people so I doubt they would write it that way. Also Pahanin remembered his fireteam after they were erased. The theory is he was present for the Ritual of Negation but wasn't included because he wasn't seen/marked. When he escaped VoG he tried to tell people about what happened to Kabr and the team but no one remembered them. Only he did. The theory of there being 6 guardians is unconfirmed. The only real piece of evidence that supports the theory is that there are extra dead ghosts in vog for a total of 5 Vog members (if they all went at the same time that is. Lore says other people wanted to try vog too)

@@ProGamer-jx1qt One of the Guardians that went in, specifically the Titan named Kabr sacrificed himself to create a shield with his Light that would protect his fireteam. Unfortunate for him, there wasn't really anyone left alive to benefit from his sacrifice. Until you, the Guardian with a new team comes and take advantage of this mighty relic. You hold the shield to protect yourself and the whole team from getting, quite literally, erased from existence.

One thing I recall is that once we killed the Undying mind in Season of the Undying , we ended up breaking the Time loop that Praedyth was caught in by the Oracles at the Vault. so hypothetically speaking Praedyth is Alive in the Vault and back in Destiny 1 the version of no time explain that we got had the words " They're Coming" , maybe implying That in the timeline The Darkness was already on the way. but it's just a theory based on the lore

Maybe Savathûn has Plans concerning the Vault since Quira is in her control but we will have to wait and see

So I've found this quite late, and I noticed something, in Destiny 2, when Failsafe was imprisoned by the Vex for 5 mins, she was in there for centuries, and she said she made a friend, at the time I can only speculate that's either Asher Mir or some other guardian, but considering Failsafe might know Asher cuz they works with the Guardian. In conclusion, Failsafe made a friend with someone who's stuck in time. Or that person may be Praedyth.

I try to infer a lot in this particular story. The "I was alone yet not" reminds me of the aeon set. Kabr stating next he speaks he will no longer be kabr, and in a language of pure meaning the code he wrote within the network allows that. Spread yourself across all known successful points in which guardians defeated atheon utilizing a barrier which binds them to your will, would anyone have survived without the sacrifice of kabr? The moment you use that shield you bind yourself or become lost to the vault. I don't want to write an essay, but the story to focus on is what did kabr (and the fire team) actually do, actually achieve...solving the paradox, solving this thought problem. That is future, those words are only muttered by a few so far, and so far only with those dealing with the vex.

I don’t think anyone’s noticed this, I did the raid for the first time a while back: Take a close look at the relic before the Templar encounter. It looks pretty cool, but it looks almost crystalline. Glasslike, some might say. I thought that’s pretty cool. In fact, Atheon is the only Vex Mind I know that is pretty cool looking. I mean, the looks match the bite, so he deserves it.

While the vault isn't the best of Destiny's lore pieces/mysteries still to be uncovered, I do think it is the most impactful for me as I remember reading all those grimoire cards heavily when I first played the vault of glass. Like Eris' fireteam, these Guardians were somewhat misguided, however if they hadn't taken the chance our own teams would have never lasted the first time we stepped into the vault. This makes them legends to be remembered in my eyes. I really hope praedeth is alive. Perhaps the vendor once we complete the raid again. Whatever I'll just feel kinda happy knowing we met.

There won't be any stasis vex because the vex weren't one of the 4 species surrounding the mini pyramid after the last interference mission in season of arrivals. The only vex with ties to the darkness are the sol divisive in the black garden, which we just recently had a lot of lore involved with, so I don't see it coming back so soon.

I do have to say that I am still disappointed that I NEVER got Gjallarhorn to drop until about 2 or 3 weeks before it got nerfed into oblivion by Bungie. I think the raid entrance will be on nessus. I mean, not only it is the most vexified map we have, but if you go to the left lower corner of the map, where the pools of luminance is located, you will find a gap entrance there, where you will find the "glass" from the raid forming, but it might not have anything to do with the raid. Also, the sunsetted leviathan raid was on nessus, so...

Vex lore and hive (id even include taken since oryx is a hive god) lore are my absolute favorite, they made them soooo detailed and easily have some of the coolest enemies

The VoG raid was how I got my 1st legendaries. I got exotics before I ever got a legendary. I was stuck at crap level for so damn long. D1's drop rate on stuff was so damn bad.

Had a thought regarding the Vaults entrance. Since their bringing back just the Vault and not Venus, maybe they could do something like what they did with that one Taken King mission where you went down into the tunnels of Mars and found an entrance to The Black Garden. What I mean is make the entrance to it in an existing place, or yeah like you said of them forgoing the whole opening encounter and it's just a straight teleport inside.

I really hope at some point we can bring Praedyth back, we've already saved 2 other legendary guardians (Osiris and Saint-14) If praedyth is stuck within another timeline on venus then we must save him, venus is a semi-vex world so there might be something there we can use to track down praedyth kinda like the corridors of time that we used on mercury to save saint-14.

A stasis themed vex mythoclast? That will go one of two ways. One, it will be as heavily nerfed as it used to be, but it's freezing potential will be enough to make it actually usable in some activities. The other way is that it's freezing potential is enough that it's as OP if not moreso than it was day one.

Awesome video dude. I love how you do a mixture between the content and the lore. You give huge destiny 1 vibes to me which i love. Since Shadowkeep I have taken some distance from destiny as it doesn’t feel the same lore infused post-apocalyptic game it used to, but this video brings me back to the feeling I used to have 2014-2017.

Praeydith is Osiris . he is leash with gone mad form so many different timelines. Osiris was the name of praedyths twin in on other timeline, so praeydith took on his name and began using the vault of glass and different timelines to train(at least that is what I think.)

Love to see Venus but I think it is very unlikely, but if they do, hope they bring back few strikes like The Nexus and such, also update the map and have a meaning to go there, so yeah

Failsafe met Praedyth in that mission on Nessus when you attempt to hack the planet but she gets caught. Remember her dialogue at the end when she said had company in her n time went by as seconds (or something like that)

I think stasis will most likely play some kinda of roll in the vault but as for enemies infused with it not sure. But i can definitely see stasis being some kinda thing in the raid.
