Her shyness was sweet. I did the same thing with my now husband just not for a whole year! 😊I’m black, and he’s white, and we’ve been married for 30 years. I was 19 and he was 18 when we met in college. You two are so precious.❤️

Sweet!!! You guys are adorable!!! My husband is Caucasian and I'm Asian - We have some beautiful kids for sure :D Mike and I met when he was training to be a pilot for Continental Airlines and I worked for American Airlines. It was pretty cool - he was 30 and I was 22. He was in IT before but wanted to do something new - but honestly unless you are a captain you wont make squat starting out as a pilot. He ended up going back into IT (still doing it now!) and we moved in together in Houston then we moved to Plano and North Dallas, got married, had 2 daughters and have been all over the place. He was in the US Navy Reserves as well. Our last big move was back to Texas from Washington state! We have been in the Austin area for 2 years but Mike got a job offer in Dallas (Southlake) last October so he took it. Now Im here selling the house and he's living with his sister in Carrollton. Hopefully we sell the house soon! ANYWAY, I rambled! I love hearing your story - young love is so sweet!! My oldest daughter is in a serious relationship now with a US Navy Sailor so it's so sweet to see young people do AWESOME things! So glad you both have each other

I disagree on college...wife makes 80k a yr no college..friend makes 140k no college..another friend 100+ no college..other friends making 200+ with they business no college...its more about bieng smart in what u pursue...some people go to college and they're teaching everyone to go out for the same jobs..that's a low percentage ull make it big..but to each is own..good luck...just know no college doesnt mean failure...u will always succeed with hard work n desire..those atributes with college will definately make u suceed..I've seen it too many times
@destinyandmitch5 жыл бұрын
I agree with you completely, actually - which part are you commenting on? I said "but always go back" in reference to taking a semester off, but I only suggest going to college at all if you have a plan in mind. I have buddies who are in construction and welding that are making good money - 70k to over 100k and have been since they were 19 or 20. While I personally love what I've been able to study, I do wish I had either chosen a more applicable degree or not gone altogether.

Hi Mitch, Just found your youtube channel, great content btw. I heard you speak about being interested in Theology, I've studied Christian theology and am interested in gaining insights into the Jewish faith. I have heard many quotes from The Talmud, I'd like to know more about it, is it one of your sacred books or maybe just some extra teaching from a highly regarded Rabbi. I hope you can help?
@destinyandmitch4 жыл бұрын
I'd love to help! The Talmud, in short, is seen as the codification of the Oral Laws given by G-d to Moses at Mt. Sinai. Explanation is below: In Judaism there is the written law - or the Tanakh - and the oral law - the talmud - which was first recorded in the book of the Mishnah and contain several commentaries/explanations since then, known as the Gemara. There are technically two Talmuds - the Jerusalem Talmud and the Babylonian Talmud, which contain commentary by Palestinian rabbis and Babylonian rabbis on the Mishnah. The Babylonian Talmud is more extensive and authoritative around the world. Both the written and oral laws were thought to have been given by G-d at Mt. Sinai, as G-d told Moses that he will give him "the Torah and the commandments" - meaning that more laws were given than the ones found in the Torah. These laws were the oral laws, which weren't recorded until the year 200 and were taught orally by teachers within the Jewish tradition for centuries. However, Rabbi Judah the Prince, the author of the Mishnah, felt that the Oral laws would be forgotten unless they were written down, which rabbis before him resisted doing because teachers, rather than books, were thought to have been the best method of teaching Jewish tradition, and orally teaching these laws would maintain the relationship between student and teacher. I hope this helps explain the importance of the Talmud in Jewish tradition!
