I don't know about that. I was under the impression that insects who don't have bones but a chitinous shell don't get fossilized. The only insect "fossils" I know of are the ones trapped in tree sap and I doubt that could happen to things the size of a bull terrier. Maybe this is just speculative?

That's exactly what I would've done as an alien. Now it's even scarier. All those advanced apes calling themselves a superintelligent species, yet arguing about their gods and genders.. That's when I would've noped the hell outta that mad world as an alien as well. Dang, I wish I was an alien... 😔
@TruthGatherer2013
@TruthGatherer2013 25 күн бұрын
imagine if aliens existed to begin with and weren't just made up, to get people to put their differences aside, by staging and external threat (alien invasion) then saying that the nwo is the solution (everyone coming in under the same roof, with the same views and standing together)... but it will all have been just done in order to make it easier for them (bloodlines of the illuminati aka blue bloods aka descendants of Cain) to control people. the more diverse (spread out and NOT mixed together, but with different cultures, different views) the harder to control. cause we're expressing ourselves, our uniqueness, that which sets us apart from everyone else. (which they want to prevent) it's a lot of info to give the whole story though, but to put it short... yep.

The oxygen levels in the atmosphere were a lot higher which allowed life to grow to gigantic proportions. If you would travel back in time to that age, you wouldn't be able to breathe the air for long before succumbing to oxygen toxicity, so there goes your dream of growing T-Rex'd sized

No we wouldnt be - thats not how it works. The reason why insects got that big is indeed due to oxygen levels being higher but not only that. The other reason is how they "breathe" - they dont breathe with lungs like we do, they absorb oxygen through their bodies. The bigger they are the more surface area they have to absorb oxygen with. And since there was more oxygen to go around their oxygen absorbtion rate managed to keep up with the demand of being bigger. This doesnt work for us as us humans dont beeathe through our skin, we breathe through our lungs.
@zobayer1
@zobayer1 27 күн бұрын
@@master_ace hmm let's follow through your imaginary logic a bit further. So you absorb a lot of oxygen, what do your body do with it? Anything that consumes oxygen for generating energy/heat won't survive if it starts absorbing more than it could convert. Besides, when you grow, you gain weight, and that big of a spider would not be able to lift its body if it was in 100% oxygen. Gravity is a thing, and it's constant. The excessive amount of oxygen was also another reason for a mass extinction.
