Now that it's getting warm i will be posting more workout videos folks...be patient. A tutorial video on how to increase your vertical. Starting with the basics and as the athlete gets stronger the workout difficulty increases. teaching proper form for power, agility, strength, and stability to increase vertical leap. Eventually gaining the power to dunk a basketball, or high jump, long jump, triple jump..play soccer, football or whatever requires explosive leaping ability.

this is great , can't wait for part III. I have 3 little questions : 1 - how can you get that ankle area slimmer 2 - what do you mean by cooling down after a ball game or practice and 3 - what kind of stretching should us consider, is dynamic before and static after (practice) good enough? thank you a lot for everything you do, this is really helpful.

For all the that doubt, if he can grab rim 2 hand off vert, you can definitly BOOM....HARD! Also, as a sprinter, explosive person, he's probably like those (myself included) that have 6-10" differecent from standing to running vert! Nice work man, rep BK...I used to live in Bedstuy Ralph Ave and Herkimer, Atlantic, Rockaway, etc.......

weights will build strength which will help and needed as a foundation but plyometrics is probably more effective as its based on short ground contact time, so your jumping is quick and explosive increasing stretch shortening cycle and elastic energy basically increasing your explosive power. Check out more of this guys exercises or Air Alert or Jumpsoles

@alejandrothefader there is no exact amount. There is measurement, known : strength per pound of body weight. If you're on squats, it's the weight you squat divided by your total b.w. or "squat to body weight ratio" At bench it's bench to weight dead lifts etc. tall people lifts less and varies cause of longer limbs. The ratio to jump is accurate if you're 6'0" and below. A 2.2 x own weight squat parallels to 40 inch stationary vert

Hey man. Excellent vid. Question though... How old are you? I turned 25 in march and am starting to find that my knees hurt more and more when I play (I also strained that tendon on the top of my knee under my quad lifting weights... thats starting to heal). I really am worried that I may have reached my peak that I won't ever be able to dunk (I have been grabbing rim since I was 16). What would you recomend for knee health.
