There's no point when you can run a guin or Sampo with Ruan Mei since nihility path offers healing on dot pop, which everyone attacking is triggering atleast one. Elation turns ults into multi follow-ups with broken effects. Abundance amplified and spreads all the healing generated from dmg, elation makes aoe even stronger/gives multi ult. Hunt gives a amazing energy on kill perk. Destruction 3 Star splits dmg and gives fighting spirit mitigation. All these together and you don't need a healer.

Keep in mind the current cycles of PF and MOC are made specifically to sell you dots (Kafka and Swan back to back), so are a lot of the new enemies on Penacony first update. DoT is good, but it appears better than it is because of enemy design and buffs. This will change.

@@morax7832 it still falls to chance but it is possible for ruan mei to give full blessings of a path. Sure fire way to get plenty of blessings is to be on the lookout for ruan mei, knight of beauty and curios that give path specific blessings

@@Snoopyloopywoopy Gui is more of a debuffer, while Sampo is a consistent DoT applier (he even has a passive "wind sheer lasts 1 turn longer" for that) with a debuff functionality. So if you have only Kafka and Guinaifen the team will perform worse than if you use Sampo because her burn is not enough, but if you have another DoT character in your team she should be better. If you can play triple DoT team or run no sustains, for example in PF and have Kafka and Black Swan, it's better to play Gui instead of Sampo. Yes, I said it, even E4 Sampo is not worth playing with BS, as he blows only 8% of her arcana stacks (in comparison base Gui can blow 92% of Burn with her ult and Arcana becomes Burn once BS uses her ult)

Strongest part about Nihility characters is that they have access damage amplifiers that characters outside Ruan Mei and her e1 can't get easily. That's def shred, res shred, and damage vulnerability. Three amplifiers most in-lined with Nihility characters making their damage scale incredibly High. In this case their is Black Swan and Guinaifen providing def shred and damage vulnerability then Ruan Mei for res pen. If Black Swan and Ruan Mei are e1, even more def shred and res shred to stack. If Guinairen is e6 max talent, damage vulnerabilty jumps from 21%, up to all the way up to 30%+ for even more damage amplification. And their access to Pearls lightcone that can shred another 16% defense. Truly worth sacrificing the ability to crit in my opinion.
