True and pure laziness in thinking. "The net economic benefit to immigration is positive". If your country operates at a net deficit and on average each individual consumes more tax dollars than they pay over their lifetime, no matter how many bodies you import you will be borrowing or printing to keep these people. No country benefits from more bodies if they can't control their spending, and no Western country can...and that's not even getting into the fact that all those illegally arriving have no hope in hell to be above average let alone an average financial benefit to the country.

I sometimes question myself about whether or not things in our western society are really as bad as they seem. I used to be a liberal/democrat (I’m American), in the last year I began to question things that I was hearing and reading. I have always been open minded and open hearted and embracing of diversity. Now, I feel like it has gone way too far. Gender and immigration… I just feel it is out of control. And, I keep checking in with myself to make sure I am not being brainwashed or a hypocrite or xenophobic or a bigot. This whole period in time has been so exhausting and stressful and confusing. My point of all of this is to share what really made me question everything and it is related to a top university, much like Oxford or Cambridge. I won’t go into detail, I will simply suggest looking up Roland Fryer. He is in the group of people that I hold in high esteem. As always, depending upon the source, you may get biased search results that do not show the whole picture. Roland is a black American and he has tenure at Harvard. Look up his interview on the yt site trigger -nometry (that is one word but I split it up so my comment doesn’t get deleted). Also, to get his backstory, which is incredible, and how he was suppressed, watch the video from 2022 done by, good kid productions. It has harvard and gray in the title. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻Well said. I’m Canadian, we like to be considerate of other cultures, but even I am finding it difficult to be surrounded by so much immigration from one particular country. You’re right, it’s about protecting our way of life, our beliefs, our country. I’m often subjected to rude looks and comments because I look like I was born in their country, yet I’m not dressed appropriately or married to the right person or behaving like they expect me to under this assumption. They speak of feeling discriminated against, but they also randomly discriminate and try to impose their way of life on people who have no affiliation to it.

The London riots of 2011 weren’t about people feeling displaced. They were about criminality, pure and simple.
