aliens are real and they live in the moon the moon's orbit doesn't have days, it has an impossible orbit that always faces earth it's hollow, it rings like a bell when struck it has an exhaust port hidden in a crater that's always emitting heat it's no moon, it's a space station... for aliens thats why we had to fake the moon landing and we've never been back the aliens told s not to return

There are real aliens and to think that the disastrous human race are the only beings in the whole of space is just ridiculous. However, the aliens that are now being pushed onto us by the governments of the world are totally fake. There is something called Project Blue Beam (a fake alien invasion) that's been in the planning for many years. Look it up it's very real. There will never be "real alien" disclosure in our lifetime as their advanced energy systems and cures for all illness would take the control and power away from our corrupt governments. Now lets get this clutch fixed.

The first truck I had was a Ford with 3 on the tree and a floorboard high beam foot switch. The gas tank was right behind the seats and you could hear it sloshing around, especially on rough roads. One of the most dependable trucks I owned.

1 of my local new car dealers was on the radio and said that he made his kids drive a standard transmission as first car....the reasons were....it's more difficult to text and drive and less likely that kids could let there friends drive their car and it's always nice to be able to drive a stick in a pinch

Out of experience the learning curve from manual to automatic is rather shallow, compared to the other way round. Lets say people learn rather quickly not to try and hit the clutch just to realize there is only a brake pedal instead ;)

Yes, did my drivers with a Datsun 680 pick up, with column shift, all 4 speed and reverse on the tree, and with the full Nautilus package, of no power steering and drums all round. Then owned a VW Beetle, same thing, just gearshift on the floor. Currently drive manual as well, simpler to maintain, no trans fluid to get dirty and die, and a clutch is cheap as well.

That's one of my trucks...! All three of my trucks and my 79 Z28 are manual transmission...! I will never drive another automatic, except on the drag strip, manuals are so much more useful...!!! I'm a lawn service owner, this truck is used primarily in my neighborhood (lake Sarasota) and only goes 25 miles per week and rarely goes faster than 2nd gear... sometimes 3rd gear... I'm it's only driver so I wasn't worried about the u-joints failing at 15-20mph...! Anyway, glad to see it's finally getting fixed...! Thanks, keep up your awesomeness and go enjoy some nature today...! Don't forget to compliment someone today...

At the top of that transmission behind shift housing there should be 3 rubber plugs that have been known to spontanesly go out due to old age and cause an annoying oil leak that only occurs while driving and then wicks down the side of the transmission whilst parked, the easiest time to replace those is while the transmission is out. I just ironically fixed that issue on my ranger 2 days ago, they can be replaced with doorman 555-108 steel plug.

Learned to drive a 4-speed stick in a '74 Pinto. Later, on a '76 or '77 (can't remember exactly which) Ford Granada with 3-speed column shift - yes, it was a standard transmission that my grandfather bought on purpose since it wasn't a normally standard option on that car, but he insisted... because of gas mileage. It didn't help much because it had their smallest available straight 6 engine pushing that heavy "mid-sized" car. It was a massive strain on that thing that you could feel going through the gears. It felt like it would slow down a good 10 mph just between gear shifts. My first vehicle to drive in high school and first year of college ('81 to '84) was a hand-me-down '60 Chevy C-10 short wheelbase step-side pickup. Again, 3-speed column shift. But at least the 235 straight 6 in that thing was a bit better suited to the vehicle. With the worn shifter bushings, you had to be careful going from 1st to 2nd, as the shift linkage from the steering column to the transmission would sometimes fall between the two brackets of the front and back position of the shifter. It would fall and stay in 1st with the shifter inside stuck in the middle position. I learned real quick how to shut down the engine, open the hood and pull the linkage back up and set it to the middle (neutral) position locked into the bracket plates, slam the hood, jump back in, crank the engine and get going again. I also eventually learned how to shift such that from 1st as I went back up through neutral to push it back and go up to 2nd, I first went a little further up (toward reverse) then a little "hook" back through neutral to go to 2nd. That seemed to help reduce the linkage drop occurrence to almost never. Later car hand-me-downs I drove to finish college were automatic transmission cars - a '73 Plymouth Satellite and '77 Pontiac Bonneville. My first new car purchase after college was a 1990 Acura Integra with a manual 5-speed - picked it off the lot. They didn't carry many with standard transmissions, but they just happened to have that one on the second day I was visiting the dealer, and in my favorite color - red pearl. I drove it until 2001. I've only had automatics ever since. Mostly because my wife can't drive a standard.

I learned to drive on a 1963 Plymouth, with a slant 6, "three on the tree", manual steering, manual drum brakes, bias ply tires, crank windows, no A/C, no seat belts, and AM radio. It ran great, was easy to drive, rode smoothly over bumps, and was extremely reliable. It was roomy inside and had a huge trunk. On a cross-country vacation from RI to CA and back, that car would cruise all day at 75-80 mph and get 23 mpg, and not burn a drop of oil. My Dad taught me how to use the parking brake to start off smoothly on a hill w/out rolling back. You young guys don't know what you've missed!

Most of the cars I have owned have been stick shift - I'm from the UK and its the default option here (well, it was in the 80s when I learned to drive). I had one car with a column gear change, but the linkages were worn somewhat and finding a gear was a bit like stirring custard with a stick of rhubarb. When we kids had grown enough for our feet to reach the clutch, it became our duty to drive our cars in the evening some 200 yards to the garage. Nothing but stick shift cars - maybe a dozen - until I came to the US. Since then it has been nothing but automatic, except a couple times some rental cars abroad. Now I believe I still could handle manual ones, but have grown LAZY.

My first car was a manual. The first time I had ever driven a manual was when I test drove that car off the lot. After I purchased it, I had no issues for the first week, but then stalled it at a traffic light on a fairly steep hill. That shook my confidence a bit and for the next week or two, I was stalling it everywhere. ☺

Pfff, I wonder what all the fuzz is about. Oh yeah, might be due to me living in Europe and Automatic transmission only got more common when they switched from classic automatic transmission to the likes of double clutch systems like the ones Volkswagen uses a few years ago. Now they seem to be phasing out manual transmissions, as the automatic ones allow the cars to be more fuel efficient. I grew up with the "common knowledge" of automatic transmission causing poor fuel economy in compariso. Which again is what makes me think is the reason why automatic transmissions only took of here when they got rid of the torque converter. I think I drove my first automatic actually on vacation in Canada, when I was 25.

As an owner of an '88 F150 I found the start of this video painful to watch. Parts are cheap and it is super-easy to work on. IDK, I guess some people just need something that moves.

@@edwardjenner1381more then likely it's used as a small business's work truck. You wouldn't believe how every sole proprietary owned businesses I have seen just absolutely abuse the vehicles they make thier money with. They act like asking them to replace thier worn out break pads, is like asking them to murder thier first born child. They have a weird mindset, and take pride in the abuse. Then get pissed when they have to put out a large sum of money due to the abuse. It just goes to show that you don't have to be smart to own & run a business. There are many idoits doing it every day.

@@williamallen7836 Yea, I figured it is a work truck, but I have not had experience with small-business owners myself. IDK, to me there are some vehicles I would (and have) just use until they fall apart and then 'throw' (give to charity). Others are a bit more 'keepers'. These are popular, especially rust-free ones.

Learned how to drive manual on 1971 Pinto. Have had several manuals since over last 52 years. Currently have a 6 SPD 95 Corvette. My son wanted a stick in high school so we got him a 97 Acura CL 2.2. Love that you will work on older crusty cars that many shops would refuse to work on or would not know how. You help a lot of people out

WOW seeing that transmission crossmember brought back my 1990 F250 memories, as a dumb late teen I cut those brackets off in a fit of rage after those upside down frame bolts wouldn't let them go. Revisited that a few years ago, welded those back together and put new hardware in the right way and never looked back lol. Good Job Rainman RAY!!!

I own a '94 F150, same engine and trans. Been in there too many times: 1) Mouse gnawed the hyd. line; no clutch. Had to speed-shift it home and replace the slave cyl. 2) Slave cyl fails about 75,000 miles later; again! 3) Trans goes into 2 and R *simultaneously* descending Pike's Peak. Got it out of R from the top, and limped it 1500mi home. Tear it apart *again* to go to the rebuilders. Pretty sure I've had nightmares involving taking M5R2 off the 4.9...
