As a grad teaching assistant, I always played music while the students came in. Whenever I did this set, there was total silence and reverence. They couldn't believe it. Neither could I nor do I whenever I hear it today. Something very special. The inside of Dan's head seems scary, wonderful, and so chill. I'd take some of that.

These guys are new to me as of 2 days ago via a random recommendation by KZbin of “Kaput”. I couldn’t put my finger on who they reminded me of and it finally hit me. The sound similar in some ways to a band I like called “The Church” Off to explore some more of their work. Cheers.

Dan Bejar has such a unique timbre, but I found someone who, I think, shares a remarkably similar vocal quality --Al Stewart. He's great too! He's a Scot who's been around since the sixties. His biggest hit was 'Year Of The Cat'.
