Not really, but it felt like it. intake bolt came loose ripping the piston in two. Thankfully, everything else survived .

Yea seems like it caught the screw as it was going down from top dead center. Upper part of piston completely detached while the rod ripped the bottom part of the piston as it continued going down.

Sorry man, same thing happen to me the other day. I stuffed a small rag in the intake so debris wouldn’t get in the cylinder while cleaning it and forgot to take it back out when I put the carb back on. 2 pulls and it sucked right in and lodged in between the piston and cylinder. Tough pill to swallow

Raising five kids took my priorities in a bit different direction. One out of the house and life slowing a bit freed me up a bit for videos. Never stopped wrenching but the youtube thing takes more time than you'd think. I'm just building steam, more to come! Thanks bud.

Wow that is a true catastrophic failure. Had a first last week myself ran over a new saw less then a tank through it after 18-20yrs on to the next mistake I guess
