Here I sit, trying to justify a lightly-used 3120XP to the wife. "Honestly honey, think of how much better our lives would be if we could mill our own live-edge tabletops? It's rated to accept a 6 foot bar, you know how we've always wanted a saw with a 6-foot bar." It's not working, lads. Oh well, looks like you had fun with them. Good test, and thanks for the message about the safety gear, especially for the younger folks in the audience. Good safety habits last you a lifetime, and a lifetime lasts a lot longer if you practice good safety habits. Cheers fellas.

Before getting disabled in September of 2003 in a workplace injury, I was almost 6'7" and 245lbs, and loved my Husqvarna 3120 I'd bought it brand new, ran it very little 2 or 3yrs, sold it to a buddy who used it even less, I'd moved to another state for 6ish year's, came home bumped into old buddy at the bar, bought it back and used the crap out of it until my accident, as wood WAS our only source of heat. Then I couldn't hold, or start that beast after my spinal surgery. A bad Dr caused me to have a nerve disease that sends false signals to my brain 🧠 telling me that my legs are on fire, or the bones are splitting apart, good time's. All while losing the feeling in them, and the abilities to control them. I can still walk about 60yrd and needed a little saw for around the house 🏠 since we'd moved to town, only wanted a little saw that I could still handle. My wife signed me up to test prerelease tool's if I sent them comment's I'd get to keep the tool. They sent me a tiny Echo chainsaw, I'd never heard of them, this was year's ago. But man I liked it so much I bought another Echo saw several years later as a spare for my son to run. Both run like a champion 🏆, I only run expensive V.P. fuel....from Wyoming USA 🇺🇸 🤠

Hi Fellers, I have cut thousands of tons of native hardwood mostly Beech, then Oak, Ash, Elm etc, with the Solo & a 22 inch bar. I was really interested to hear the difference between the Solo & the other two fab saws. Then you put this awful noise (Music???) over part of the sound track. I could tell how the solo was cutting by the sweet note of the engine & all the vibrations coming from the totally NON DAMPED saw through my right hand & up my arm. So It was with great enthusiasm that I turned your video on, only to find....................................... Yippee, no music just the saws singing!!!! I have not tried the Big Stihl, or the Husqvarna 3120. I prefer my Husqi' 365 with a 20" bar it does for me now. Oh & bye the bye, My Solo was a pig to start, the timing was off & it would rip the starting grip right out of your hand & rap your knuckles, no de- compressor of course! Life was harder in the good old days (early 70s to mid 80s). Then I got a Partner semi pro P55 I think it was, wow what comfort, & quieter! Anyways, thanks for the noise, & brief play with the big guns. Happy felling & stay safe!! Philip

He should have started in the wood with that REX Roaring a little more and it would have eaten right off the bat on that first cut. On the second cut you see where the higher rpm saws spin the chain faster allowing them to eat fast, whereas Ol Rex seems to be fighting with torque alone like the 075s just not nearly as impressive.. maybe it needs a massive tune up...
