I was in basketball, that “drill instructor” PE teacher was our head coach, and let me tell you that was brutal. We’d run a mile, but it went like this 100yd dash, 50 yd back peddle stop and do 1-2min planking 20push ups, 20 jumping jacks, 20 Berbees and 20 sit ups, this would repeat until the mile was done and if it took more than 30mins total we’d have to do it again. Ince we get it under 30 mins we’d do an Indian run. Let me tel you, coming home and taking a hot bath felt so relaxing I low key kinda miss it

I was a senior in a PE Class of All freshmen too for a different reason. It was because I was the only senior that took all AP classes so they had no gym classes for seniors so I ended up with them because it was the only time that fit in with my schedule. Only difference is I wasn’t dominating anybody. I’m 5’6 so I was pretty much the same size as some of them and half of them were bigger than me so it was still pretty normal

This year is my senior year. They decided to make a coed gym since we have a very small class. My one friend and I play sports and nobody else does. We are always forced to be on opposite teams but one time we were together in basketball and we killed everyone becuase he is a basketball all star and im 6 foot so getting rebounds against the girls in our class is super easy. I know exactly how it feels.

Oh lol, for me it was the opposite. I was in a fitness class with one senior girl, me as an 11th grader and two other guys I knew in my grade. Everyone else was a freshman. I think they dominated us, they sure had far more energy lol. I mean I was six foot tall but with their kid energy versus my deteriorated highschool self and not excersizing much on account of the crazy highschool homework, they were really athletic lol. The class went fine I guess, and the coach was awesome so that helped a lot. The only thing I don’t understand is the changeout rules. I had days where I couldn’t scramble clean cloths so I didn’t have any for changeouts or I missed a changeout notice on a website. Anyway the coach said, ˋˋYou loose credit if you don’t change out´´, I was like, I can still do everything and participate just like everyone else if I can get the credit, but who cares enough to argue if they let you sit out and relaxe. Not much I could do then.

I have a story: Me and my friends, were both softmores and not hat tall, I'm a 5'3 skinny Mexican kid and my friend is 5'6 white washed Mexican kid also but he's chubby. So were in our PE class play badminton (it's like Tennis but with a birdie, if you don't know what that is google it) and were messing around, smacking each others asses and stuff then we get to play we chose team and the teacher said "1 teams of 2" so the game would be teams of 2 (2v2) we go up against this guy and this girl (note everyone in the class is a softmore) and they have no idea how to play so they just hit the birdie buck to us and we hit it back to them having a nice time but the teacher got mad at us for not knowing how to play the sport he said "every time you score you & your team have to switch sides and we have to call out the point" and all this BS, what confused my friends and I is that he said "Stop having fun, 1 day you'll need this" and we got annoyed and the rest of the time we just ignore him and played for fun. We did up winning that game 2-1 and we went up against this other team and lost 7-1 *BUT* we didn't care at all because we were having fun

Man, that summer I was 15, after 4hrs everyday of PE, then after school we'd go swimming (my parents townhome association used to have a pool for residents) and DAMN! I was in such good shape! Indeed! I'm 45 years old and it was the exact same ish when I was in HS. When he was talking about getting the volleyball stuck, the first thing I said was, "Throw your shoe at it!" At least back then the coach wouldn't have split up the seniors, they would've recognized the character-building for what it was, and also would've known that those seniors once stood where those freshmen were presently.
