I think the most absurd part of all this is how the Magnus setup is entirely doable, and by that point in the game no less, EXCEPT for the L Emblem, which would require sequence breaking to Poshley Heights and back

It's interesting that Double Pain isn't exponential, equipping extra copies just adds an extra instance of damage

It's programmed to add 1 to the damage coefficient. The damage coefficient is 1 plus the number of Double pain badges equipped. It was coded like that probably to future proof it if they wanted multiple copies. Hopefully the remake allows us to get multiple copies.

So. It appears that while damage is capped at 99, the game doesn't STOP calculating damage, so Return Postage deals damage based on how much damage was dealt, THEN the damage Mario actually receives is capped

The Shadow Queen proper does not have any direct attacks, so there's simply no way to Return Postage or Spite Pouch her to death.

@@underrated1524 even if possible still she can't die in Phase 1 as she has 150 you can't deal more than 99 per attack and when she goes to 90 or lower she will be invencible and phase 2 begins ( if that happens she survives with 51 HP) also bonetail yould stand 2 self damage hits as has 200 HP first hit 99 damage 101 HP second hit 2 HP then dies

Actually you can't defeat everyone in 1 HIT there's 2 surviving bosses ( Max 1 attack damage 99) Shadow queen 150 HP survives 2 hits counting both phases 1 without phases Bonetail 200 HP survives 2 hits

You can enter almost any fight with dead partners if you let them die in an earlier battle. No cheat code required.

It's a memetic joke that Luigi always wins by doing absolutely nothing, hence the L badge for the clothing here. It's most prominent with the Mario Party games but it's since expanded to other games too like Super Smash Bros.
