Cool stuff. I particularly liked the double peril for Crump and Poison Shroom + HP Drain P for Magnus 2. It's a shame Poison Shroom has that pesky 20% chance to fully heal. Kind of ironic how we as challenge runners find more value in the "negative" effect of a Poison Shroom.

If you want to set it up easier, enter any battle, kill the partner, finish the battle, and them give them a dried shroom in the overworld to heal them to 1 hp.

You need two ingredients to make Poison Shrooms, so after Chapter 4 is the earliest without cheats.

He's using the poison mushrooms as a (unconventional) way to get Yoshi to exactly 1 HP, so that Mega Rush P, a badge which boosts attack when the partner is at 1 HP, activates.
