Welcome to another episode of Trailmakers! Inspired by the Car in a Car and Plane in a Plane video I did a long time ago, I decided to take a stab at building a hovercraft in a hovercraft! At the press of a button this big hovercraft will destroy itself to reveal a smaller hovercraft inside!

Trailmakers is about building very awesome vehicles and machines, but you don’t need an engineering degree to get started. The intuitive builder will get you going in no time. Everything you build is made from physical building blocks. Each block has unique features like shape, weight and functionality. They can be broken off, refitted and used to build something new. Individually the blocks are fairly simple, but combined the possibilities are endless.
Expedition Mode is the challenging campaign mode of Trailmakers. You are competing in an off-world rally expedition with only a few building blocks to get you started. You must build, tinker with and rebuild your machine to progress. Journey through a big world, overcome deep gorges, angry wildlife and dangerous weather to progress and find new parts that will juice up your machine. The world in Expedition Mode will test your survival skills and ingenuity.
Sandbox Mode is where you want to head for an unrestricted, sandbox, vehicle-building experience. Here you can build anything you can dream of, and play around with it in the world of Trailmakers. It is a great place to test out crazy machines, and experiment with the physics engine. With tons of different blocks, hinges, thrusters and interactive vehicle parts - the skybox is the limit.
Trailmakers is even more fun if you play it with other people. Build cool vehicles and compete in mini-game modes with your friends or other Trailmakers online. Build a helicopter, send it to your friend, and shoot them out of the sky. Put two seats on a tank, and let your friend control the turret. As we get further in Early Access development Expedition Mode will also be adapted to multiplayer.

5:00 The reason why it tipped at high speeds when turning sharp, is becouse the wings were above its center of mass. When center of draw is above center of mass, the mass will move past the center of drag, since one moves forward, and the other moves back. Those two need to match as best as possible

Yes! Someone noticed. If you have simple tailfins on the same height as the hoverpads it it just about perfect. That way I got within top 10 on the leaderboard without glitches.

Scrapman, to fix the turning issue you need to place the fins bellow and above the hover thrusters. Right now your center of lift is about 2 blocks higher than your center of mass so you can fix this bye placing fins on the bottom of your craft. Pls like so he can see

Traimakers MUltiplayer challenge: Race- Plane inside car inside hover craft... First 1/3 of the race over water, then 2/3 on land, lastly 3/3 starting from a jump and turning into a tiny plane until the finish line.

The problem in control you face in most of your hovercraft is due to the booster being in the front and the back of the vehicle, and the fact that you are so small and light compared to your speed also, maybe on larger creation try to make the outermost hover pad more powerful than the one in the middle

Some time or another I will find you in a server and show you my awesome car and many beyblade types. The car can fly using balance and rockets, and I built many gimmicks into the beyblades including: Jump, Slow Fall, Center of mass change, Shields, Blade extensions and so on. Funny that it all started when I made a weird device that basically spun fast in the water.... That was the origin of my beyblade series

For your confusion about the small one not turning... it was at 300 kph so that might have had something to do with it

Build a brute chopper 6:42 You see how the hover pads are up while your broken back section is dragging. Flip it around and have the back float and put a big wheel on the front to pull it. Brute choppers are from halo, i think the first game with them in it was odst??? It doesn't need to be a chopper specifically, just a half hover vehicle. As long as the front wheel(s) work similarly to how they do in the game, they twist instead of turn, then you might not even need too much drag on the back.

I think that issue with a small hovercraft is because of that all fins create a drag on top and bottom just moves faster Also, big one gives me a feel like if someone mashed Spider-Man and Iron Man together The Iron Spider hovercraft

Such a great game, they really need to format the online interaction better tho. I've seen at least 5 great game mode ideais in this channel alone, in its current format its just hard to steer the online gameplay into a dynamic direction, if u r not in a party already it kinda feel tedious after a while

scrap the bouncing is because the aero dynamic is only down force and the hover pad is trying to fight that down force edit: although idk why it always bounce to the left side
