Trailmakers is about building very awesome vehicles and machines, but you don’t need an engineering degree to get started. The intuitive builder will get you going in no time. Everything you build is made from physical building blocks. Each block has unique features like shape, weight and functionality. They can be broken off, refitted and used to build something new. Individually the blocks are fairly simple, but combined the possibilities are endless.
Expedition Mode is the challenging campaign mode of Trailmakers. You are competing in an off-world rally expedition with only a few building blocks to get you started. You must build, tinker with and rebuild your machine to progress. Journey through a big world, overcome deep gorges, angry wildlife and dangerous weather to progress and find new parts that will juice up your machine. The world in Expedition Mode will test your survival skills and ingenuity.
Sandbox Mode is where you want to head for an unrestricted, sandbox, vehicle-building experience. Here you can build anything you can dream of, and play around with it in the world of Trailmakers. It is a great place to test out crazy machines, and experiment with the physics engine. With tons of different blocks, hinges, thrusters and interactive vehicle parts - the skybox is the limit.
Trailmakers is even more fun if you play it with other people. Build cool vehicles and compete in mini-game modes with your friends or other Trailmakers online. Build a helicopter, send it to your friend, and shoot them out of the sky. Put two seats on a tank, and let your friend control the turret. As we get further in Early Access development Expedition Mode will also be adapted to multiplayer.

How about a weird asymmetrical plane/jet dogfight. Like wings/lift surfaces in the middle, cockpit on one side, guns on the other. Balance with weight/thrust/control surfaces as needed. Like a flying catamaran or B-wing.

Not for nothing scrapMan, but when I saw the image you used on the video, I thought you were going to make the plane yourself and then try and attach a parachute add to one of those vehicles you were able to spawn in with a certain block like you were able to doing instruments of destruction ! But then again, the picture didn’t make it easy to think that you were doing this in trail makers and make me actually think that you’re doing this in instruments of destruction, so nice job

I have a challenge for you and Yzuei, aircraft towed gliders. Many gliders are towed into the air by powered aircraft connected with a long tow cable, then the glider releases and flys / lands on its own. So, one of you builds a high power aircraft, and the other builds a lightweight glider. As you experienced issues with starting attached in your flying aircraft carrier, I'd suggest you have a magnet on the glider, and the tow place has a long tow bar that can pivot in the X and Y axis, rotate on the Z and some pistons set to their weakest to give the most cable like experience. Connect via the magnet, both have to fly your respective craft with the glider of course having no power and needing to follow the leader until you release.

IDEA! I was thinking I might be cool to do a hide and seek thing similar to the ones you do in Scrap Mechanic but instead you're in vehicles and hide where ever you can. You could do a video on each map, maybe have Kan, Moonbo, Kosmo, and Yuzuei? Maybe make it a specific island or area if you feel the maps are too big, and when it comes to hints whatever vehicle you create will have to have a function that'll allow you to make noise aka gun etc.

I have made a vehicle set like this, a drop vehicle and a large plane. The drop vehicle can be loaded from the back ramp and can be a tank or truck. The drop vehicle just uses gimbal jets for a parachute. The cargo aircraft can manipulate the drop vehicle inside the bay and move it towards the ramp to be dropped.

Well then, how about paragliders? Like a game of chicken using the mech seat as the pilot seat, some small control surfaces, a small propeller and the parachute and you both fly at a flak balloon or flak cannon and first to bail out or die loses. You can add armor, but are limited to X# of small wing pieces and only 1 propeller.

Air-drop off a supersonic plane, or air-drop off a normal speed plane like that but the car is supersonic, both are supersonic, or, again, neither are supersonic(do this challenge again. I just now typing this remember when you swam out into the death zone of the High Seas map in a submarine, then jumped out as a boat with many sails, but I don't remember if you achieved supersonic speeds or not. Also, to be a true American, acknowledging that (I believe) most of your viewers(including me) are American, the speed of sound in MPH is 768mph in normal sea-level conditions, or 343mps(meters per second, not miles, which would be about 4.73 mach, or 343mi/s would be ~552,001.562mps, or 1609.334 mach). While nether are traveling at mach speeds, you could try to survive deadlier runs, different builds, workshop builds(cargo planes &/or _the_ cargo), or whatever).
