The fact Suga was feverish and sick/slightly congested and still went this hard. The medley is just too epic. They are just so good live. I heard another reactor say how many “studio” rappers just fall flat live and can’t get the same energy and here comes BTS especially the rapline just terai g it up and hype as heck live. Also their live adlibs and hyping each other, plus the feed with the audience energy. Can’t beat them live, some people are sadly just so flat and underwhelming live.

The camera angle in this video didn't show it, but in other videos, you can see hobi and joon pausing for a moment of silence because suga was killing in his verse on part 2 😂 these 3 are the best hype men for each other I swear!

J-Hope starts with Cypher Pt.1, then SUGA continues with Cypher Pt.2, then RM spits Cypher Pt.3, Then they all do Cypher Pt.4. Fire 🔥🔥🔥 They always sound better live, in concert. More emotion in the performance, not studio perfect, ARMY's always prefer live. 💜

Heard this many times but today heard something new buried in the performance J Hope's Cypher 4 verse. J Hope asks in English "you wanna be my life"? The other two shout out the ad lib "Wannabe! Wannabe!" which given the English seems to be a direct characterization of what they think their critics are. Never thought of it as more than an ad lib before.

They have said time again that they feed off ARMY energy as we feed off theirs. They can be sick and tired but always bring it because that's the professionals they are. I think BTS is better live because they love performing in the most authentic way. I remember once, when asked for advice about performing, Hobi said, you have to have sincerity, you're using words, music and dance to convey a message authentically. (paraphrasing) So in contrast, they don't have an audience in the studio which affects how they feel when they perform (bts lamented about this regarding their online concerts on many Vlives).

what i always love from Cypher pt 4 live performance is the way they made thousands of people shouted out loud "I LOVE I LOVE I LOVE MYSELF!" that's powerful!🔥🔥🔥 (same with IDOL, thousands of people shout with them "YOU CAN'T STOP ME LOVING MYSELF!", or Epiphany "i'm the one i should love". i always love that kind of moment from BTS' live performances)

These three men are the best rappers I've ever heard, and Suga in particular is untouchable. So talented, both in the delivery and in the lyrics. I adore BTS, and live BTS is SO GOOD. I don't know how anybody thinks they can hold a candle to these guys.

There could be one more interpretation for "Because I'm breathing, sorry bae" I don't know if you know this, but RM has had a nose job (I'm not too sure when) because of his deviated septum and it was hard for him to breathe. He used an apparatus of some sort at night to help him sleep. Members used to complain about his loud snoring so much 😂 Haters tried to drag him for his nose surgery as if he got it for aesthetic reasons. He wasn't even trying to hide it.

I live for the rappers they get much more energetic than the studio version and ofc the production play a role in it I'm really wishing one day they'll drop a live album since in their concert they have a live band who does the composition of all the songs they perform so it's totally different than the studio version

I've attended a BTS live concert just before covid hits. My personal opinion abt the 3 rappers: RM commands stage presence with his voice, Jhope brings an energetic feel to the concert, Suga surprisingly was like 0.01sec behind the beat so I wonder whether he couldn't hear the music or was it a habit of his coz I notice he does that on some of the other performances.

I saw them live in concert 2018 and 2019 best concerts i have ever been to. In both concerts army chanted to the songs from begin to end. the boys go out for all songs when they perform and yes they sound better and fuller live. what was cool for both concerts some army would even do bts dance moves to the various songs at the concert. Just a lot of purple love everywhere. Also the army bombs are amazing. Standing in a sea of army bombs that change colors and spell out words its truly amazing. I hope to go to their concert one day again. My concert were city field stadium in new york city which was a sold out day. my other concert was met life stadium in new jersey also a sold out day. Both concerts just thousand and thousands of army its amazing. So many ages from very young to old all genders and even full families go to their concerts. I hope everyone gets to experience a bts concert one day. :)

The Cyphers, imo, are right up there with Ddaeng and Ugh. There’s no question that these three men are lyrical geniuses. I’m so hoping that when RM and Agustd drop their next solo projects, we get more amazing drops of badassery from them 💜💜💜

I don't mind at all when a reactor's bias is showing. I love watching reactors fanboying (or fangirling) over a member, any member LOL. And Suga is one of my biases (the other being V), so I'm right there with you haha. Btw, I just watched your conversation with John Reaves. You said you want something bluesy, smoker's lounge kind of thing. So I'd love to see you react to JK's "Still with You". I think you'll like it. I have one wish, to be apart of THAT audience, Army was going off and I'd be screaming along with them. The rapline are something else, I love their ad-libs too and I just know Tae was backstage losing his shit when they performed this💜 I totally get what you are saying about live being better than studio. My one beef with BTS is that they can be over produced and the true vocal gets a bit lost. It's such a shame because it's not needed, they all have outstanding voices💜

I think one of the best things being an army is getting all the passion and emotions that we got with every album. Now they are more mature and that is fine, but I miss their hunger and ambition expressed in their music, live and studio. Also, I was lucky to be part in concerts where they played Cypher pt.4 and hear thousands of people screaming I Love Myself and all the energy going from everyone in that verse it gives you unique goosebumps. I don't think there is a better verse that should be chanted in music than I Love Myself (in a healthy way, obviously).

Hey I'm so happy to watch reaction video by someone who's Yoongi/Suga/Agust d biased since I'm too. Don't get me wrong I love them 7 but Yoongi got a special spot. He was the one who snatched me back then in Not today mv and right after came his first mix tape. He got me hooked so bad as the cyphers. Cypher pt 4 is one of the first songs from BTS I've listened. I have a deep bond with this song. I've watched it live before the studio version and I loooove Hobi part. In the live I watched often, he put so much emotions in it. I love Hobi's rap since that : I've the feeling he sound different live instead of studio work, more real. Like you, I really prefer BTS in live performances. They sound real and honest on stage, it's one of things I love about them.

I’m so happy you reacted to this!! I absolutely agree with you that they are so much better live! There really are no performers like BTS. You can’t hear it here but in the actual song there is a little gem. At end of Hobi’s verse between “this will be the first and final words” and the chorus there is a little mumble that sounds like he’s saying “f* you” which I think is hilarious. I also truly want to say thank you Bryan. Although you have not had an easy life you are aware of your privilege. As a woman I am utterly grateful that there are people like you to give us all some hope!
