Detail on BMW Motorrad K1600 GTL Modesta BC-06 protection

Hey guys, I have the same bike (K1600 GT) and I just wanna share my experience. I noticed that you washed the bike with a pressure washer, so did I. Please be careful not to aim the water jet at the top of the tailight. If you take a closer look at that place, you will notice that there is a small cover above the tailight. There is an alarm system with a speaker behind the tailight and under this cover. If water jet gets between the tailight and the cover (there is a gap between the tailight and the cover), the alarm system's speaker will fill with water - you can destroy the system. You can check the water presence very easily: if the sound of the alarm system (coming out when remote locking the bike) changes or is muted, there is water in the speaker. It is not so easy to get an access to it - you need to remove side handles and cover under the top case. So this is just for your info. BTW, great job!!

Hi Serge, great work and fantastic new shop. I love your videos! I have several motorbikes and keep them as clean as possible (everyone thinks I ride a new bike every day!). Before I power wash my bikes I always make sure to block off the end of the exhaust to limit damage and aggravation later on. A simple plastic bag with some heavy duty elastics on the ends works fine. Keep up the great work.

hi buddy from south Africa. what a beautiful job. well done sir. would it not have been better to remove the side panniers, literally takes a second to unclip them. can you also pls share what product to use on the exhaust cover, just below the "chrome" pipes. it's like a rough finish that piece, and even the cloths seem to get caught on that finish. thank you

Looks like you might need some proper humidity venting in your wash bay. Can help with the steam buildup and humidity level.

+Camilo Diaz This was not so easy with this bike and we decided with the owner not to do this. Also the center stand is not used to not damage my brand new floor. Sounds weird but hey, this also worked out pretty good.

Normally not but when you spray too much then you have to wipe the surface
