The fact is we start following personalities instead of what Allah (Subhan was Ta'la) gave us through His last Rasul, Nabi Akram (SAW). We start worshipping personalities and deem them infallible. This started right after the demise of Hazrat Muhammad (SAW). This debars us from critical analysis of Islamic history and fallacies made in different times, which made inaccurate concepts part of Deen. Now it is very difficult to discern truth form concoction. Fact is one can find issues in all versions of Islam existing today. A common person like me has either confusion or no concern about what is right or wrong. Ya Allah make it easy for me and give me hidayah and sense of Sirat e Mustaqeem.

And the interesting point is that if you thoroughly study Quran and Sahi Hadees you will realize that the teachings of these bazurgs are far away from Islam.
