This is one of the cleanest fades I've ever seen. The way you took off the bulk to erase the line really helps me to learn. I try to cut this on myself. Only difference I try to make the fade lower, longer on top and leave more bulk on the sides

So on point when u talked about not pushing back on thin spots, because like u said if your technique is correct then, people won't be able to see the thin spot unless they are are going out of there way. Crispy as always! To me, this is more of a mid-fade than a drop fade. Or, I’ll say personal preference is for the drop fade to “drop” a little more. Still crispy though.

He didn’t create a line because that technique is called clawing that much of the stationed-blade (top blade) is on the hair and less of the moving blade (cutting blade) is on the hair. The stationed blade does not cut hair. It only lifts the hair so the moving blade can cut the hair that it lifts. And clawing technique does not lift much hair.
