I love her equality mindset! Caucasian hair needs protected too!! One thing she said was SO TRUE- straight hair pops out of braids SO EASILY! Finding a braider who knows how to properly tuck Caucasian hair is exactly what is needed for our hair type, although no matter what, eventually it will pop out… it’s just how our hair is. As annoying as that is there’s nothing you can do about it. It is what it is.

I love that you made a video on this! I’m white but my daughter is mixed so I’m learning how to do all the braids and styles on myself before she gets big enough to want them. I’ve done some stuff on a black friend but it’s harder on my hair cause it slips too easy. My daughter has a very fine hair texture with super tight curls so it’s totally different from anyone else’s I’ve tried braiding. This is helpful! Thank you ❤️

Thank you so much for this video! Your technique doesn't make the base thin, so I definitely want to do it your way. I am trying to do it on my own hair (first time) and so, my problem is getting a grip on the front, anyone have any tips for that? Can't press against with middle finger. I'm probably approaching this wrong and trying to figure it out. I probably need to try from the side or arms coming up from behind maybe?

Quick question: my hair is a mix of 2c, 3a, and a little bit of 3b, and I'm not entirely sure how to go about braiding my hair. I have tried to find videos that explain how to go about braiding it, but I can't seem to find any that I can understand. Not to mention I am really new to braiding so I have no clue what to do, I guess my question is how to you go about braiding hair such as mine. Also does anyone have any tips that might help?(I do have texture to my hair also, and not just a little but not a lot either, somewhere in the middle, not sure if that contributes to my issues or not just thought that I should include that in this)

Yea, just make sure it’s straight with no tangles. It’ll be good with one comb through because it’s fine hair.

Yes, so you definitely want to make sure to add a lot of product & comb the hair into the weave to keep it intact and make sure to tuck the hair behind the braid.

@@teddy3282ify do you have to do anything different though? Like do you have to make the braids looser?
@teddy3282ify
@teddy3282ify 3 ай бұрын
Nope. I oil my scalp after I get it done and it helps relieve a little bit of the tension. The only thing you have to do different from our normal routine is not wash it for a month. It sounds weird but because everyone’s hair is washed before the style goes in, the fake hair keeps ours clean so we don’t have to wash it hardly ever.

Hey love 🤎 so when you go to bed, you want to make sure to tie your edges down with a bandanna scarf and then put a bonnet on top to keep the longevity of the style. Knotless braids are 100% pain free, it looks super tight but it actually is not, it’s the products & the freshness of the style that gives it a tight appearance.
