Thanks! After further inspecting as I’m disassembling the movement to clean it, it was actually stamped 1918 and was presented to someone who fought in World War One!

I wouldn't do any work on that clock at all. It is beautiful just like it is. Like old clocks do has its own story. It really is beauty. Love the bong sound on that beauty. Thanks for sharing this beautiful clock with us. Merry Christmas 🎅 to you and to yours.

Our home was built in 1890. Very well built. I love that clock. It's in really nice condition. Do you sell pieces to clocks? We have a grandfather clock but a piece is broke on it. It's about 3 inches long.Any info would help. I do have pic of piece. Love all old clocks.Ty for sharing.

No, it's just a mantel clock. I listed it on eBay and a previous buyer scooped it up in a few hours. I think he has 6 of mine now and he said they are all doing fine. Thanks for watching.
