I love sitting on the perch. I just have to make a cushion for the top of it as my butt goes numb sitting on the foam way to fast.

Yeah the perch is a game changer for sure, I’m debating getting another kayak cushion for the perch.

That’s an impressive setup dude! I didn’t catch what that port is called (0:59) that you have in the front and back. Connecting your trolling motor to your battery pack.

It’s is a cheap quick connector I found off Amazon. Comes as a plug and receptacle combo. I’ll likely change it to something else at some point but for now it seems fine. Thanks!

How long did you have the SG before you sold it? How's the Shearwater compare to the ol SG?

Probably 5 months or so. I wanted more stability and rigging options as well as more room. I’m a bigger guy and felt cramped on the sg to be honest. The shearwater is a big upgrade in my opinion
