Well, that's the second time CaDa very clearly shows that Lego needs to step up their Technic game. There was a time those Chinese brands competed purely on price, but again CaDa comes up with a vastly superior set design, exactly the area where Lego always used to have the upper hand. And the problem isn't so much that Lego can't do better, I believe they absolutely can. But more that they choose not to, but instead only seem to skimp on quality and cut corners wherever possible just to maximize profits. They can only keep up that game for so long.....

Seriously....Lego only have the quality on their side now, because CaDa's design are way better, unfortunately their bricks quality is not the best...

CADA's design is not always better - I have their "Porsche 911" version and the design is not very smart, you can't play with it because parts fall apart (because of the design, not bricks' quality), but at least it looks cool. But this 911 was more like a "creator expert" set, I need to check any "technics" set from CADA.

I have this set at home and the quality is just as good as lego in my opinion. Motors are even better, only the servo's are bad

@@rensfassbender5585 I don't have any problem with bricks quality, it's very very close to LEGO (in my set only 2-3 pieces out of 1500 are were not the same quality as other bricks, so it's nothing serious), but the design of CADA's Porsche 911 is not good. Almost every touch breaks something - mirrors fall apart easily, the same with bumpers and the roof, small hit and fenders fall apart. My kid hates it because if this issue - he can't play with it. But it looks awesome. And totally agree with your opinion about motors, also I prefer CADA's motors. And I also like it because it still uses a remote controller instead of a smartphone.
