Buddy, you just saved me big time. Took a direct hit from a falling branch yesterday, knocking the headlight washer inside the bumper. Thanks to you, partially removed the bumper just enough to access the assembly and now good as new!!

hi, bud, I think yours is the only video that shows replacing Volvo front bumper, all the rest show how to remove it but never show details on how to reinstall it, thank you so much for your hel have struggled for too long untilIi watched your great video. best regards.

I gather from you license plates that you're a fellow RC pilot as well as a Volvo fan. I've been a RC helicopter pilot for 30 years as well as owning a S60 Polestar and S60R. 😀🇦🇺

The light connect at the passenber side was impossible to disconnect! I just hanged the passenger side bumper on the headlight. Perfect height.

Did u put a flathead screwdriver under the locking mechanism of the contact? If so then i would slide off with a little force if u pull those apart from eachother

Hi Gary - great video. I need to do the same thing on a V60 - also to replace a leaky washer fluid reservoir. Anything I should know about that process? Any tips? Did you have any resources to help with that procedure? Please and thanks.

Hi friend! I actually filmed the process of replacing the washer tank on my XC60. However, I need to finished editing the vid before posting. I've been putting it off bc I wasn't sure if it would be useful but sounds like it might be. Once the bumper is off the washer reservoir replacement is pretty straight forward. The main point of mention is that the washer pumps going back into the new tank are finicky. On the end of the washer pumps are grommets where they mount into the tank and upon reassembly have a tendency to leak. Might not be a bad idea to get replacement washer pump grommets or don't be afraid to use a little bit of sealant on the grommets. A little goes a long way. I also recommend filling the tank up and wiggling the pumps a bit to simulate road bumps before you reinstall the bumper to check for leaks. Outside of that it's a pretty simple procedure. Hope that helps!

Agree great video and I am about to embark on the same repair but will wait until you finish editing the video. I’ve also got a bad light lens that I would like to replace, is that pretty simple once I have the bumper off? It looked very accessible.
