Thank you for the tour Bill and Deb. I am requesting prayers for a gentleman whom lost his conversion home yesterday on the side of the road. He was able to detach his vehicle, but his home was a total loss. We saw the heavy dark smoke and a few flames. It took 3 fire engines to suppress the fire. The poor gentleman was standing well back behind the fire crews watching his home burn. I do not know if he had fire extinguishers on board as you both have strongly suggested. But if a few prayers can go up on his behalf. Nothing in his conversion trailer could be saved.

Hi Bill and Deb. Congrats on this absolutely beautiful and amazing build. It truly has everything anyone could want in a tiny home. I have been watching and researching tiny home builds for almost a year. Your build is like nothing I have every seen. I will be 65 years old next week. I now live in a 2 bed 2 bath manufactured house in North Central Florida by myself. I have downsized everything to go tiny. I love it. Living minimal just feels right to me. Thank you for your inspiration. You both should be so proud of what you have built.

Chaseway: Structure within which the utilities for a Utility Distribution System are located." A raceway is an enclosed channel that forms a physical pathway for electrical wiring. Raceways protect the inner workings (wires and cables) from heat, corrosion, humidity, water, and other kinds of threats Since your Chaseway encloses several items and not just electrical it is more a chaseway not a raceway

This is Bill. We considered doing the same thing. We found a 2 year old one at what seemed to be a very good price. However, I noticed the ceiling was sagging in the wrong direction. I actually called the manufacturer, and they told me it's all 2×2 wood frame construction, walls, and ceiling. They might have changed up in the last few years, but if I were you, I'd do a little more research, just to be certain.

I had a couple questions about the bathroom. It may have been covered in a previous video but I wasn't sure... What are the little round vents near the top of the shower walls? The other question I had was regarding the poop bucket... Lol When everything is all said and done.. Does the bucket get..refreshed? Trying not to be graphic. Just thinking about the logistics of that set up. Never used one before like that. Maybe looking up some literature of the do's and don'ts of the..Doodoo bucket would be more appropriate. Lol great videos. Thanks!
@billanddeb Жыл бұрын
The vents above the shower are just that. Vent. We figured it would be a good idea to let that area breathe to control condensation behind the panels. The poop bucket is lined with a heavy-duty trash bag. When it's time to change it out, we simply pull the trash bag out, tie it off, and dispose of it. We've never felt the bucket needs to be "refreshed." The odors (if any) are contained in the trash bag.
@pacoperkid13 Жыл бұрын
@@billanddeb Ahh... Do they vent to the outside of the trailer? By refreshed I was meaning just add more pellets or change it out altogether.. Sorry, I probably should have been more specific. I appreciate the quick responses!

Hey Bill and Deb. I’m using the Rule shower box thanks to you guys. I’m still building. This morning I got the water all hooked up and testing was going great until I noticed the Rule box overflowing from the built in overflow. Fortunately I put it in a plastic tray to test so that caught the spillover. Do you guys have issue with overwhelming the shower box and if so how do you handle? I know your shower box is maybe 6 feet from grey tank, mine has to pump about 15 ft. Maybe the issue. Thanks!
@billanddeb Жыл бұрын
That's a new one in me. The only time we had an issue was when the float switch actually failed. But , yes, you're correct, it only has to push the water about 4 to 5 feet, plus, we used 1 inch tubing.
@billanddeb Жыл бұрын
I might suggest you contact Rule. Your pump might possibly be weak. They are recognized as THE shower box company. They might have a solution.
@mvrussisonline Жыл бұрын
@@billanddeb thanks. Well I figured it out. Stupid user trick. I’m just testing with s few small 12v batteries hooked to rule and water pump. Wore the batteries down below the pump’s minimum voltage need. Red faced! At least my pumps are good! Off to the next task! Thanks for your responses.
@billanddeb Жыл бұрын
Lol. Glad you figured it out. Had me worried. I might suggest utilizing the outlet way up in the upper left as an overflow. We actually put a fitting on it and routed a tube down through the floor. That way, if the pump ever fails, you will not unknowingly flood your trailer. That's what we did.
@mvrussisonline Жыл бұрын
@@billanddeb good idea. I have the water heater and rule in a single cabinet. I put a plastic tray on the floor with intentions having a simple drain thru floor for potential overflow. I think I’ll also do what you did, better it go straight outside, save the pan for water heater leaks. Water heater pop off will also go straight thru floor. I sure appreciate your feedback.
