Detailing is not simple. These videos make it seem that way until you're actually detailing someone else's vehicle..if your not passionate about detailing then its not for you.. your knees will hurt, your calves, your rotary cuff, you must eat and stay hydrated and you must have agility and also " know your chemicals and their strength...

Oh and you’ll be starving , sweating, and have to piss with no where to go. This was one of the realest comments I’ve ever read. I never knew how hard detailing was. I train BJJ, I run half marathons, and I weight train. Detailing is almost neck and neck with BJJ as the most demanding on the body. Let that sink in…

I was able to buy a cheap and compact garden hose reel from Amazon, for my aftermarket hose. What i can't find are equally cheap, compact and carry-capable reels for air and pressure hoses

I started with a husky 20 gal that was like 250. It won’t run a tornador air tool no stop but it’s enough. It’s a back up now. It’s a great compressor light and quiet.

Hey howd you know I want to buy everything and have all the tools!!!!! I’m a carpenter and have 20+ makita cordless tools. I’m thinking about doing mobile wash detail. I really appreciate tip #6 as a tool head I must learn to buy what I need. Instead of what I truly and ultimately want. Thank you for your wisdom. It’s helping a hardheaded construction worker grow.

Priceless information. The issue as a starter is information overload. I am on 12 years old and my dad is helping get ahead. Do you have a basic requirements for chemicals exterior and interior video?

Im 15 and started my detailing business two years ago. Looking back I would start off with a basic apc something like meguairs or p&s. For exterior I would p&s exterior shampoo. Hope this helps 😊

The AR blue clean is rated at 1900 PSI. It’s priced at 900 dollars, just looked it up online. Whats a good PSI for washing cars ?
@nictoriousdetailing9 ай бұрын
Personally I try keep it too 1500-1800 so you don't do more damage on paint chips, rip off badges and bad paint/clear coat etc

I got 1300 psi ryobi and it’s good but doesnt get all the grime 100% stuff that i can get off with my fingernail. I do know there is a limit because of what my partner said about chipping paint etc.

When you do waxings what pads do you put on your buffer?
@cutlasssupreme5089 ай бұрын
You never know because of the paint. You just have to pick out the best combination of compound Polish and pad.... Get a paint Gauge so you understand how much clear coat you have

Have you had any experience with the active 2.0 electric pressure washer? If so do you think I should get it as my first electric pressure washer, I have a gas powered pressure washer but it's super loud and a headache so I want to buy a electric pressure washer but I don't want to spend more than $700 for one, what do you think?
@alexlee31219 ай бұрын
That was one of his mobile pressure washer. I had one lasted me 1-2 years. I’d go for a Kranzle pressure washer it’s more reliable
@juliosoto57438 ай бұрын
I would say to keep that gas one because like he mentioned with the generator you could end up running your electric pressure washer through your gas generator. Just wear the earmuff ear protection with the smaller ear protection inside your ears.
