Detailing a dirty JDM Legend! Part 1: Foam Wash & Polish

Giving a true JDM legend an exterior detail! 😍
Starting this detail off with a thorough cleaning of the engine bay. Secondly, the exterior of the car gets a foam wash followed by a chemical and mechanical (clay bar) decontamination. Afterwards, we treated the paintwork with a single-step polish to boost clarity and gloss. To finish this detail off, we protected the paintwork with a wax by 3D and the engine bay gets a layer of Koch Chemie Motorplast.

Awesome job on the detail. NSX definitely a dream car. 😍 Which detail brush is that (yellow) & which foam cannon is that? I'm looking into getting the Adam's one or mjcc

Thanks Chris, appreciate it! 🙏 The yellow brush is from the company Work Stuff (Classic range), highly recommend them. The foam cannon I used in this video is just a generic one. The MJJC foam cannon is pretty good, never used the Adam's one so I can't tell you which is the better pick. Have a great day!

Was ceramic coating an option for this client? Fantastic work first off but im curious why go with the poxy as opposed to a short term coating that can be cost effective. Cancoat evo by gyeon has changed everything for our business for clients that dont want to or cant afford a higher end coating without sacrificing depth and longer lasting protection. Fantastic video nonetheless and keep it up!

I have a question, would it be okay to not clay bar and use a rubbing compound that removes oxidation? Don’t they do pretty much the same thing?

I don't have a lot of experience with rubbing compounds, but if the car is maintained well and you do a thorough chemical decontamination, for example Carpro Iron X paired with Carpro Tar X, I think you'll be fine.

I saw the video well It would have been perfect except for that Rising Sun Flag in the intro. That's a flag with the same meaning as the Nazis I don't know if you know the meaning or not, but it would be very unpleasant for Asians to see.
