Detailing a layer of a mandala, one pattern at a time.
With this piece I’m exploring the opposites of dark, and light. Both are necessary in life - wee do not have light without dark. We do not have good without bad. We do not have joy without pain. It is in the moments of darkness that we begin to value the light.
The white space may end up painted in watercolour, but I won’t be sure until the inking is completed.
Eventually this entire page will be filled with patterns.
