More info, please. . .How long (time) does it take to polish an aircraft. . .What time of year do they do their "magic". Is it done annually?

Thanks for the questions! The team is here for about a week, and that covers almost all the aircraft. They come in the summer, and yes they've come every year for the last 20 years.

Have you heard the story of the maintenance guy who was transferred to Air Force one. He noticed pallets of Pillsbury extra fine flour. Stacked along the side of the hanger. He thought wow! They sure do a lot of baking on board. Come to find out that was the polishing compound for the aluminum. I wonder how many of these people know about Never-Dull. And that distinctive smell. And black fingers that smelled for days.
